Free frostys at Wendys until 12/31/10

I stopped at Wendy's yesterday and noticed a small sign in the window at the drive-thru that was advertising frosty key-tags for $1.00. With the key tag (that you attach to your key chain), you get a free frosty with any purchase until the end of the year. There's no limit. Granted the frosty cups are pretty small (I think they are the size that come with the kids meal), but for $1.00, this is still a great deal!

I was going to purchase one of these at Starbucks because I thought they were so cute but the cashier discouraged me because she said you have to take your key's out of the ignition to present it at the drive through! So, I just have the "old fashioned" gift card.

So, I just have the "old fashioned" gift card.

Just keep it in the middle console or somewhere else w/in reach instead of attaching it to your keys.

I use a valet key chain and keep my keys on one ring and all of my discount and membership tags on the other. This comes in handy at lots of places.

The key tag says "One Free Jr. Frosty per transaction, per visit with any purchase." So you could buy a drink or an order of fries and get a free frosty. They are the jr. size, but the card doesn't expire until 12/31/10, so it's a great deal.

I have a key chain that has a clip on it where I can remove some of the keys. I use this when I have to give someone my keys (mechanic etc...). So, I can just unclip that part of my keychain and show it to the drive-thru person.

That was my thought as well. I do have a couple of cards I just keep in the change container in my car but making it a clip on to keys is a little silly. Advertising it in the drive through is kind of ironic really.
