Thanks for the offer to help! I can't remember which order the resorts are in, is ASMusic or ASMovies the closest resort to ASSports? I know we were looking for music related gifts for a friend and my daughter and I walked to all of the All Stars to check out the themed gifts. It was a hike in the heat, but not terrible, considering how much walking we did everywhere at WDW!

I think ASMu is in the middle. That's why I was a little concerned about getting the fridge from ASSp to ASMo, they are the furthest apart. . .

Momto2inKC, sasha's goofy will make arrangements with you to get the fridge before you leave but she has MNSSHP tickets on the 28th evening. Let her know what works for you!

Sorry to say that I have to back out of the swap. I wanted to let you know ASAP! We were scheduled for Jan 21-27. I called last night to make my room only ressie for 2009 (since the packages aren't out yet) and ASMo has no standard rooms left. We never ask to be in preferred because we like to be tucked away in the back away from everyone and the pools and all the noise. So, I was not going to pay $24 extra per night ($12 per room, we were getting 2 rooms) for something that we didn't even want!

Long story short, we are now staying at a Moderate.

I don't know. I was quite surprised. I'm thinking maybe there is a large group or something staying at the All Stars. ??? The CM didn't have any standard rooms at ASMo or ASMu, only ASSp. Very strange, especially for January.

Oh well, we were torn between 2 rooms at ASMo or going back to CBR, so it all worked out!

Looking for more swappers to fill in some gaps. We need one more swapper to pay to join and pay me so I only need to pay $13, too- otherwise I'll have to pay 2 shares.

I am thinking ahead, after we have the fridge paid for, do we want to open the swap for free to others right away to fill in spots or should we wait until all of the paying swappers have had their turn? My thoughts: a free swapper could help keep the fridge out of storage for our breaks which could help keep it from getting "lost" but......... sometimes people take things they get for free for granted and they may not be as diligent in taking the necessary steps to get the fridge to the next swapper. What do you guys think? I saw one of the other swaps was asking for a $10 deposit for "free swappers" which was returned after the swap was successfully passed on to the next swapper.

I hate to point anyone out but what about the 2nd swapper on the list? Are they not contributing to the cost?
As far as what to do once the fridge is paid for....I honestly don't know. I have never been in a swap that asked for money once the fridge was paid for. But I guess it could be a good thing for the reasons you mentioned above.

The second swapper asked me if it would be okay if she sent a check later this week and I told her that would be fine. I don't know if I really want to mess with collecting and refunding deposits from others but I was just thinking of ways to help the swappers later on our list.

There will be nine paid swappers when I receive money from matosfam- sasha's goofy is only paying for her trip in Jan, she just offered to relay the fridge on her short Sept. trip to help us keep the fridge out of storage. I had figured the split with 10 swappers.

Absolutely!!! I'm annoyed that Disney dining is down today. I was hoping to check for some openings we've been trying to get. I can't believe it's getting so close

I am REALLY getting excited for the trip! I cant wait to hear back from all of our early swappers about how much fun they had on vacation.

This weekend I plan on laying out schedules of each park for each day and planning everything. We are going camping so I will have nothing but time on my hands and Disney on the brain!

Yes, those dates are open and you are welcome to join our swap! We are having a 2.7 cu ft fridge delivered and the total for each of our stays is $13.00 (for the first 10 swappers). We have nine paid swappers as of today. You can either send $13.79 via PayPal (to cover my PayPal fees) or you can mail me a check for $13.00.
