Free Fall into All Stars Fridge Swap- Fridge is Lost!!!!!

Ten of us have purchased a fridge and we are willing to share for free to help keep our fridge out of storage for extended periods of time. If your dates are available and you are interested, please post a message here or PM me. In order to participate, you must agree to send me your contact and reservation information and to share it with the swapper before and after you. We would like the fridge to be returned to the ASSports baggage area when it is not in use, but you are free to make arrangements with the swappers before and after you as long as you communicate with me where the fridge is located.

Please do not sign up for this swap if you are not certain you are willing to collect the fridge and return it for the next swapper on the list. Some other fridges have been lost when people left the fridge in their room when they checked out instead of repackaging and labeling it for the next swapper.

IMPORTANT: NEVER leave the fridge in your room or ask the bellhops to take it to storage for you- it never works. Always personally take the fridge to the luggage services area or accompany bellhops and tip well- do not let the fridge out of your sight until properly labeled and stored for the next swapper.
Please, please, please, if you ask to use our fridge but change your mind and don't want to pick it up from luggage services after you arrive, LET ME KNOW! Call me or at least contact the next swapper and tell luggage services to put the next swappers name and arrival date on the fridge. If you can't find the fridge I need to know, the sooner I can track it down the better chance we have of finding it!

Also, please have swappers label the fridge with the name the reservation is under so bell services will know who it is supposed to go to. One other time a person's name was on the fridge but they put it in lost and found because they had no record of a reservation for that name.

I was really counting on having a fridge and keeping lots of drinks, etc. cold in our room. I've been in two separate fridge swaps and both of them are now missing! I'll add you and your dates to my first post so others can see if their dates fit in with our plans.

My dates overlap with Momto2inKC, but, if her fridge gets recovered (mine was also lost), I'm interested.

We'll be there Sept. 15-23rd.

I'm not a big fan of cold drinks, but, we're doing DxDP and I imagine we'll have a bunch of leftovers that we'll want to save for breakfasts since we're planning to eat at a signature restaurant everyday.

Our backup plan is to bring a small cooler that we have that is really efficient (the ice stays ice-like for the whole day), but, then we need waterproof food containers, and, the airlines tend to think we're weird when we travel with it.

I know what you mean about the airlines, we brought a soft side cooler packed with food items on our last trip and it must have triggered some type of special review- everything was removed and searched. If all else fails, we will do that again but our cooler is not the greatest. I may have to purchase something else because water leaked a little making our floor damp and it was not easy to drain everyday.

Let's hope we can get lots of others to fill in the space between our dates and yours! I think we are better off if we can keep the fridge out of luggage storage as much as possible. I will put you on the list and we will keep our fingers crossed to pick up extra people!

"Our fridge isn't lost because we haven't bought it yet" Swap -that's kind of long isn't it?

Ok, how about, "This is NOT a POP fridge swap" -there are more POP swaps than anything out there, this will set us apart.

No seriously, since we're starting in the late summer/fall, we could use, "Fall into All Stars Fridge Swap"

I'm sure somebody could come up with something better.
