Free entry to MK for 30 minutes to visit shops in Main Street?

OK - bear with me! I may be completely imagining this, but I am sure I read somewhere the other day that you area allowed access to Magic Kingdom to pop into the shops on Main Street. I can't remember exactly what I read - something like you have to pay for entry at the ticket booth but as long as you are back out of the park within 30(?) minutes they will refund you (or you are only charged if you don't present the pass again within a certain (short) amount of time).

Is this a figment of my imagination or is there any truth in it??

I can't begin to imagine that's true.

Big, BIG if Disney did that, they'd never refund your entry fee.

As DH just remarked, that'd only support resellers who'd pop in, grab what they want and get their entry fee back.
