We were talking at a picnic on Labor Day and our trip to WDW in December came up in conversation. One of the ladies asked when our youngest was born (2000). She said she remembers reading in the papers that Disney was giving free park admission to kids born in that year.

I think this is highly unlikely, but figured I would ask all of you on the Boards if you've heard anything like this.

Free up until the age of 3, then they need a ticket. I have read all the books and never heardn of this before. Does she mean free for life????

This is likely to get a better response on the Theme Park boards.

Wow! I have a DS born in 2000 and have never heard that one. It would be nice if it were true, but like you, I think its unlikely. ;)

I don't think it was Disney World. A few months after our son was born in 2000, we heard about a lifetime pass for all kids born that year to see the Harlem Globetrotters. We did get a pass before the end of 2000 (though I'm not sure where it is right now). Of course, an adult will have to accompany him and then it's not really fair to leave younger brother at home, so it's a pretty good marketing tool for the Globetrotters.

We went to Disney in December of 2000 and didn't hear anything about the free pass. Son was an infant at the time so didn't need a ticket.

Thanks all!!!

That's pretty much what I figured. I remember when DD8 was born, we got something about lifetime entrance into Ringling Bros. Circus, of which I didn't take advantage. DS turns 4 in November and we're going in December!!! At least we didn't pay for him last year ;)

Another 2000 baby here but has had to have admission on our last 2 or 3 trips so I dont think 2000 babies get in for free but it sure would be nice :D

We just purchased a ticket for our 2000 baby, boy would that be sad if we didn't need it. I remember the Harlem Globetrotters deal , but didn't get around to doing it in time.

My daughter is also a 2000 baby and it was a Harlem Globetrotter ticket, we still have hers.

My nephew was born in 1999, and his was a Barnum and Bailey circus ticket, and yes, my sister still has his.
