I see a lot of people trying to sell this info on ebay. Does any Diser want to share for free? :lmao:

Apparently you can get free drinks, and free parking somehow at DL. If its true it sure would help me a lot! Anybody know? Or is this just the refill mugs, and AP pass parking?

Thanks!

Maybe free cups of ice water and free parking for DLR hotel guests? :lmao:

How much are they charging for this info?

It sounds like the offer from AAA, but usually the parking is tied to the ticket. I believe there may be a coupon for a refillable mug from the resorts. Maybe someone who has gotten a AAA package can post the true scoop.

I booked with AAA and we do get free parking. But to me that's not free to the person who buys the info on eBay, because then they have to go out and buy a AAA membership. I'd hate to already have AAA and not know I got free parking, then have to pay for that info. :sad2:

I know that AAA was doing some kind of special offer for people traveling to Disney parks in April, and I think it might have included free drink refills. I am going in May after the special and we don't get free or discounted mugs.

Don't waste your money! The tips they are selling are things that can be found here or at other Disney boards.

Free drinks: you can get a free cup of ice water at any restaurant that has fountain pop. You can get free refills on pop at any of those places as well (you can't come back later or the next day- but you can fill your cup before you leave).

Not sure about parking. Can't imagine anywhere that offers it free with out the risk of getting towed. Other then some of the hotels, if you are a guest.

I paid the money, once, to someone on ebay. Curiosity just got the best of me! They suggest things like asking people leaving the park (at night) if you could have their ticket as a souviner. Then take it to the ticket booth and ask to add a day on to it or turn it into an a/p. For dinning they suggested things like ordering a double burger, then asking for a bun so you could turn it into a two singles.

Hmmmm.... to each his own, but all that seems really dishonest to me.

Yeah, like I said dont waste your money on buying info!

agreed. I always thought it was funny when people sell their dream fastpasses. They said you can use it anytime, anyday despite a expired date on the tag. STUPID!

i wouldnt trust ebay! you dont know what they did to the cups either. THere isnt much ways to get free parking ticket unless you park in the far lot.

I kind of cheated when I went to Disneyland last week. My cousin works for Disney Travel and he gave me a coupon that allowed me to get a free mug (drink included) and five free refills from Farmers Market in DCA, Red Rocketts in DL or a Mexican restraunt in DL ('Don't remember the name). I mainly used it at RR. I just walked in and went straight for the soda machine. No one asked what I was doing :: shrugs ::. But it could have been because they reconized the cup. It's a cute cup too. It's blue and has Mickey and Minnie on it with the castle inbetween them and it says 'Where Dreams Come True'. It's not terribley big but it was enough to keep me happy.

Sounds like the AAA mug they were offering with packages booked through 1/31. We'll be getting those on our trip. You said you cheated, do you mean you got more than 5 refills? We were told we would need to show our receipt, but it sounds as if you can just walk up. I certainly prefer that since we can save time that way. How small are they? Are they a straw mug or more the coffee sipper type?

I cheated because I didn't buy a package :p. My cousin just gave it to me. I actually only got three refills... But, yeah, for Red Rocketts I just walked right up and got the drink.

They hold 12 ounces and they are more like a coffee sipper.

Thanks for the info. I've got youngish kids, so the size will be good for us. I realized upon rereading that my post might have sounded like I hoped it was easy to walk up in order to get more refills. I can't imagine drinking the 5, so I won't be cheating that way, either.

I don't think the poster was actually suggesting you do those things, just pointing out the kind of rip off you can run into with these pamphlets.

Yes, thank you, that is exactly what I was doing.

:sad1: I am so sorry... I didn't mean that you would do those things.

What I meant was that people would pay for the information and then feel entitled to use it. I didn't think you were one of those people.

I feel like a heel now. :guilty: I reread what I posted I can see how it was taken wrong.

Please accept my apology. :flower3: I really wasn't trying to imply anything.

No worries. I read what you posted both ways, and decided that you probably were not directing it at me.. That is why my first post after that just agreed with you. I wasn't offened in the slightest.

Good! :) I felt so bad when I realized how it could come across.

Thank you! :goodvibes
