Free Dining Question - Can this be done???

Hi - We have the MYW package w/free dining. I've set up our PS's and was wondering if we will be allowed to do this and SHOULD we do it (ethically)? don't flame me too much please ...here's the deal...

We have a PS in Canada at Le Cellier for 6:40 pm as one of our "free" sit down meals. Our kids need to eat earlier than that and prefer the food in America so we'll get them something there without using the plan. We will purchase dessert for them while we eat. This means that we'll have 2 sit down meals that they won't be using.

I was thinking of going to Kona for dinner one night and using their 2 free sit down meals for adults dinner there. (It's on a night when they have other activities planned and won't be dining with us).

So....basically if we can't use it at Kona the 2 sit downs won't get used.

Do I or Don't I? Can I or Can't I?

At this point, I believe there isnt a rule regarding this....however, I think they are changing it.

I believe that all the credits are pooled unless they stopped this. In which case the answer is yes you can do this!

If they haven't changed the policy when you travel then as it stands today you can do it. You'll need to decide for yourself if it's ethical. I don't think anyone else can set standards for you. Read the brochure, interpret the plan, then decide if you should do it. Personnally I interpret the plan as kids credits to be used for kids and adult credits to be used for adults but I'm not in charge of anyone elses life. Not flaming, just giving my take on it.

Why pay out of pocket for the kids counter service meals?

Since you will be eating two Table service meals wont you have extra CS credits that the kids could use?

Anewman- good point except I believe we'll have used the CS meals for breakfast and lunch. Of course if we do have any extras I'd gladly let the kids use them!
