Free Dining Pin?

I thought I knew a lot about Disney, then I discovered the DIS boards!
Someone said on here that there is such a thing as a "free dining pin code?"
I would love to take a trip this summer. (It has to be end of June through beginning of Aug since DH and I are both teachers.)
DH wants to wait until next year when Fantasyland will have more open and we can stay in the standard rooms at AOA.
The only way to entice him would be a free dinin pin for the summer. Has anyone ever gotten one?

You can call reservations and see if you have one attached to your name.

Unfortunately, we did not

Holding out hope that they will offer free dining for October.
