Free Dining Past October 2nd 2010-Pins are out to 12/24

Guess that answered my question as well. Thinking of going for a week or so in December and I remembered the free dining in dec 2009.

Was hoping to snag it this year. Christmas in 2009 was a killer for food prices...ouch!

Would happily go a few weeks earlier to get free dining. I'm a disney visa holder so keeping my fingers crossed!!!:goodvibes It woild be lovely!

PIN codes are sent at random by Disney. You may or may not get one and you can't use one unless you personally get one.

Disney Visa sometimes has their own offers. You may be notified of these by Chase, but monitoring this and other unofficial websites is the best way to find out about them.

The free plan offered October thru 1/2 of Dec. was thhe QSDP, the pin for those months was for the regular DDP, we did recieve this last year probably July and we did take advantage of that and went the last week in Oct.. This year we already received a 40% pin and did book that thru AAA last weekend. AAA told us if the free DDP pin or general public offer would come along we could make the switch which would save use about $110 if QSDP offered and $250 if DDP offered, that is with 2 adults and going to POP.

Now if they'd only make it free DXDDP for those staying at Deluxe resorts!!!

 That would be like winning the lottery. We b:love:ooked a bounce back last year with 40% off and it is saving us @$600 .... I'd trade that deal in a heartbeat for a rack rate room and free DXDDP which is costing us @ $1500!

The free dining that was offered for Oct-Dec last year was for QSDP at the Values but the regular DDP at the Moderates and Deluxes.

Last year the free dining pin included the basic dining plan at all the resorts including value. Where as the public code only gave QS dining to value resorts.

Yep you are probably right about the Moderates and Deluxes getting the regular DDP for the general public, I stayed at POP where the QSDP was offered but we had already booked with the pin for free regular DDP so I didn't have to call back and upgrade.

Another one hoping for free dining :surfweb: ...If I can get this trip to cost a little less then I might be able to talk DH into going again after our Nov trip! :)

I got a pin offer and I have already booked a room for 40 percent off. If they do come out with free dining for November would I also get that with the 40 percent off or how does that work?

You would need to forfeit your 40% discount in order to get the Free Dining.

Depending on where you stay and how many adults/kids are in your room, it is sometimes a better deal to keep the 40% discount and pay for your dining.

Our deal is like that. I havent been offered the 40% off yet (wondering if I call to ask if it is on my Disney Visa if it would be on there) but I figured it both ways. I am saving $200 by getting the free dining than the 40% off (of course figuring apples to apples. If you can live without the dining plan, 40% off would be WAY better but this might be the only way I get to eat at the nice restaurants. I wouldn't go paying $35 a person)

No I don't care that much about the dining plan I would rather have the 40 Percent off because we already have annual passes so I think we would have to get the stupid package and buy one day of tickets to get the free dining. It's not worth it to me.

Hello again. We book our trips thru AAA and am wondering if we can get any of the codes for Free dining that are coming out for Nov.-Dec.??

Len
I think if they came out with free dining that you would have to cancel your current reservation and book another one. I could be wrong though wouldn't be the first time LoL. You should call AAA and check with them. Good luck.

Right now you can't use the codes for free dining in that period unless you personally receive one, but you can ask AAA if there is a discount available to you.

YUP YUP!!!:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:cool1::cool1::cool1::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

although I was hoping it was a mistake that it comes out to only about $300 difference (I prev used the 20% off hotel)...but I did the math and it was right!:rotfl::rotfl: Hey I can dream ..can't I? ;) but hey I am def happy with a $300 savings!
