Can I get everyone's opinion on the best QS restaurants and your favorite dishes there? What about your favorite snacks that are included with the snack credits on the QSDP?
Last year, we ate at Columbia Harbor House, Cosmic Rays, and Casey's. I can't remember where else. We stayed at Give Kids the World so we had a few meals there.
I REAAAAALLLY want to do BoG for lunch but I just don't know if the line is too terribly long if we'll be able to swing it.
We'll be hitting all 4 parks and (probably) DTD. I heard the Earl of Sandwich is pretty good there. We've never been to DTD. Is it worth it with a 4 yr old?

Yes. We only had 1 CS left and they wanted to use our TS credits and we said NO because we were eating at Ohana.Has anyone who has just been there report on whether it not you were able to use a TS for a CS?
So I just made a dining reservation for 4 people when only 3 are in our party (party of 3 wasn't available) Do I just call and change it to 3 or just show up?
Just show up. They will not charge a no show for the 4th person, and if you couldn't find a reservation for 3, the CM won't be able to either.
My husband and I were just talking about where/what we might eat (Thanks for the QS suggestions, by the way!) and asked me if DS has to get a kids meal with the QSDP or if he can order off the adult menu. I never thought of that. I don't see any reason why we couldn't find something on the kids menu that he'd want, but it would be nice to know we have the option. He does NOT like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, by the way. What kid doesn't like a good PB&J?
Do you guys know if he is relegated to the kids' menu? Since they have his age on our reservation, it would make sense that he would, but I thought I'd ask.

Last year they didnt distinguish between adult and child quick service credits. The receipt lumped them all together, unlike the table service, which listed adult and child entitlements separately. Anyone know if this is still the case?
While QS credits are not tracked separately, the terms of the plan clearly state that all children on the plan must order from the kid's menu where one is available. Also, your KTTW card (and likely somehow on your magic band when scanned, as well) will show the number of adults and kids on the plan. So if you have 2 adults and one child on the DP, the most adult meals you can order is 2.
And as a reminder, it is against Disboards policy to discuss ways to circumvent Disney policy. Just be careful because typically discussions about kids using QS credits for adult meals can get threads closed.![]()
Oh yikes! Definitely don't want to circumvent or get something shut down. Not my intent at all. I should have looked it up instead of asking. I'm sorry!

No worries! You're just fine!It usually only happens when a new thread is started. This thread will be fine.

I think DTD is definitely worth it. We are going for the Lego store alone. : ) Also Wolgang Puck Express is a really good QS spot for both breakfast or lunch.

Anyone know when Santa arrives at downtown Disney? Is it November 15? And what are his hours?
