I don't think they technically need one, but the theory with the bands is that they will be reusable from visit to visit. So I guess Disney wants everyone to start off with one????

And what dancegrl stated totally happened at our house. The day I found out he was supposed to get a band was the day the rest of ours were delivered to our house. Everyone was so excited but when he discovered he did not have one too, let's just say, he let us know in a not so quiet way!

Hi, I also ordered my pp+ when I booked my package, it is still over 2 months until we go, so I haven't received my Mickey Mail. Just wondering if it is ordered by it self is it shipped rather than having to go to the PP sales center? Where is the PP sales center?

This is my understanding, not totally 100% certain, but if we had ordered separately we would have gotten voucher AND CD so we could have just given our voucher to any PP photographer (or PP sales center) and they would give us the PP+ card. Ordering with the package, I believe we have to go to sales center to get our CD and pp+ card.

There are PP+ sales centers at each park and at Team Mickey in DTD marketplace.

Plus, I think we paid about $8 more in taxes having it with the package

A week or so ago, I kind of gave up on my daily checking for a POR room for 5 with free dining, since I was happy with the Poly. With all the news about the construction coming to the Poly, plus the fact that it was around $1500 more, I checked POR availability last night - still nothing. Today I happened to see that I had left the webpage up because I had left my computer on overnight, so I tried one more time and boom - a Garden View room was available for our stay! We even added a day to the beginning, so now we're good to go from 11/21-11/27

Can you imagine if a 2 year old saw their whole family with a "Mickey Mouse bracelet" and they didn't get one? I know my son would not be happy about that. It should keep the under 3 crowd happy.

I don't know the official reason.

My parents and sister now want to go down when we do, but only 5 days of the 9 needed have availability for free dinIng. Has anyone had any luck adding additional days if you call disney or will they have to do a split stay?

You could always call but have it in your head split stay just incase so no disappointment. Is it bc of the dates or availability? If it's dates then def split but if availability you could always look at it as a way to check out other resorts

I started my reservations with 4 days and by calling every other day I was able to add a up to get what I wanted which was 10 days. Also, you can try in other resort for availability for your full vacation then modify by calling. I don't recommend to do a split stay since you will need a minimum of 2 days ticket to get the free dining in the second reservations and the cost will increase significantly.

Does anyone here know if children need a photo ID to board a plane?

Ours didn't when we recently flew to NY.

My wife & I just booked a getaway for our Anniversary to Coronado Springs - the FREE Dining plan really helped a ton!

53 days....how did 368 days get down to 53 days?! I'm even more excited now...if that's even possible. I just watched the Halloween edition of the castle show. I had goosebumps watching it. Does that make me a geek?? Lol The kids start school tomorrow....days are gonna fly by even faster. I'm so excited...ahhhh!!!!

Both of my kids have bday money so they're good. I have a gc with money on it for breakfasts and souvenirs for my dh and I. Plus any other misc spending and we're getting a gc from our Disney visa with our points. So our spending money is covered.

69 days here! Now that my resort ressies are set, adr's are made, touring plans in place, now Im micro-looking at my budget! We have a 1 night RO at AoA, then 6 nights at POP with Free dining.
Ive got:
Room only reservation
Package reservation
Gas going down
food going down
first night dinner OOP before FD
stroller rental (kingdom strollers)
table service tips
mousekeeping tips
1 ADR OOP (we will be 1 night short due to CRT)
spending money
photopass
gas going home
food going home

Can anyone think of any expenses that Im not thinking of? TIA
