I THOUGHT I wanted pink, now I just don't know! Disney world problems.

The pink is pretty - got that color for my DGD. My DD's band is blue, DSIL is green & mine is red. They look nice. You can take the inner band off to make it fit a smaller child's wrist without losing any information & it still looks nice.

That is why I am glad I only got 2 days to decide; otherwise I would keep overthinking it..:rotfl:

If I knew how to upload pics, I would show you mine. I got red, pink, blue, orange, and green.

Which is the prettiest in person? Are they true to color? My DH is getting green and my DS wants pink. Lol

I think they are pretty true to color (depending on your computer monitor, of course). My daughter showed them to me via Skype this past weekend, and they look really nice.

I had a hard time picking between Pink and Blue for myself. I've chosen Pink but still am not sure LOL! I keep wavering. I love blue but thought the pink would stand out more and be more "girly" princess: What do you think? I thought a lot of guys would be wearing the blue.

testing

nope, still trying to figure out how to upload pic

I would say the colors are true in there purest, most common form.

My DD's favorite color is blue so that's what she chose - is a very pretty blue. My DGD has the pink one. I would go with the color you like best.

That's so funny; we were having the same discussions this weekend. Are they true to color? Which color do I want? Should we each get a different color or get repeat colors? Ah, such heavy matters to consider.:rotfl2:

And my goofy DS wants pink too!::yes::

Where are you staying again?

As far as I know, under 3 does get a magic band. I spoke with a few people when I called yesterday and they said definitely yes. I already customized my 2 year old's band, so I guess they were right! So happy!

Someone else just reported they received a band for their 2 yo. Did the CM state specific ages??? I am wondering if the cut off is 2? Or maybe it is inconsistent and sporadic???

My phone app version said my 1 yo was eligible, but would get grey only with name. The WDW website version, said not eligible at all and could not customize anything. I just got my box of MBs and no band for my almost 2 yo:confused3

That's what I thought too. I was calling to fix some issues with MDE and asked every person i talked to during the call. I already customized his band. I would call to make sure. It makes sense to me since the were getting the KTTW cards before magic bands.

They did not state specific ages. I just asked if my 2 year old gets one. It was a quick and definite yes.

I just got off the phone with a wonderful CM, and yes if they are on your reservation, everyone should get one. My little guy was not on the reservation, he was showing up on MDE, but not on main ressie ( a whole other issue). However, she stated he could still get one at check in by telling them he was left off the reservation.

She also indicated that they may stop giving them to children under 3 at any time because they are having an issue with them being lost.

I'm glad you figured it out! My guy wasn't on my reservation either and my DH was showing up twice. That's why I had to call so I could customize my bands. Glad I did!

I'm worried about them getting lost period. They don't seem very secure to me (going by pictures only for now) only a few prongs in the holes?

Yes, that was my concern as well. There are two prongs that snap in two holes and I can see how it could get caught on something and snap off.

One interesting thing is that they are two sized. The outer grey area is for bigger sizes and the colored area can snap apart from the grey making a child sized band.

Oh, the PSSAs....grrrr....I am a PA teacher.

We are from PA....I hate those tests...I'm sorry. But all they do is stress the kids out and it doesn't affect them directly.
