I know!! It's terrible. I'm first grade and Pre K 4. I really want them to stop growing! But I'm also trying to find them danskos and cowboy boots and hats they like so they can be tall enough to go on the fun rides. How crazy is that?! Lol!

I LOVE Danskos for myself and didn't realize they make them for kids! Just looked and they don't come small enough for my DD yet but maybe next year!

Aww! I'm lucky my DS who will be 5 next month is tall enough to ride all but the rockin roller coaster, and whatever else is 48 inches- otherwise we wouldn't be going yet! Not spending all this money to not get the full experience.

I'm getting bummed out over here. We didn't get FD bc our week was blacked out, we didn't get a ro discount bc we're at POR and the increase in the ticket cost negated the small discount, and we bought travelocity tickets so I can't link them to do fastpass+ or magicbands (if anyone knows how, please let me know...I've been trying for weeks and have called Disney many times with hopes that one CM will pick up who can help me). I would refund the travelocity tix in a heartbeat, but they are non-refundable. I keep trying to remind myself that I am still going to Disneyworld.

EDIT: Finally! After hanging up the phone with Disney tech support and AGAIN being told by a CM that I couldn't do magic bands or fastpass bc I couldn't get our travelocity tix to link, I figured I'd just mess around with it again. I went in and did the modify on-line check in thing and voila!...it showed up...YIPPEE!!...WOOHOO!!! I was able to customize colors for all of us...and, yes, my DD also wanted purple. However, I'm so thrilled to finally have them I'd been happy with gray! ....Now if I could only get FASTPASS to work.... It keeps showing the same thing I read about others seeing...."We're sorry. The selected date must be within at least one party member's FastPass+ selection window." Anyone know how to get it to work???

Just be careful with your shoe choice. I have seen CMs ask for shoes to be removed if they look like they are trying to boost height. Happens a lot. Hopefully a growth spurt is coming soon!

6 days away from doing online check-in! Can't wait, just one step closer to vaca!!! Do you find out at that time while doing online check-in, if you will get magic bands or do you find that out closer to the trip?

I am wondering the same thing. We are 5 days away from online check-in. WE WILL BE THERE AT THE SAME TIME But no one seems to know the answer.

When do you check in? We check in Oct. 5th. I'm on hold with tech support again. She is trying to help me with the fastpass issue now that I got magic bands. I forget her exact words, but it sounds like they are opening it up a little at a time...like some weeks/days at a time. So, I am wondering if you are checking in later than us maybe yours will be able to customize soon...maybe keep trying it daily? ...Ok...CM just came back and told me she definitely can't link my tix, so I can't do fastpass+ now. She said I'll be able to once I trade in my voucher at will call. ....which, again (grrrr) is different than the CM told me earlier tonight. The CM I just got off the phone with said she absolutely knows I will be able to after check in bc she did it herself at 3:00 am during her recent stay.
OAN, in case anyone else needs to know....When you customize the bands, click the done button. When the system accepts that click, it will almost overnight the bands to you (the CM just told me...and she seemed to know what she was talking about). My done button keeps showing up and won't go away when I click it. She is the one who noticed that when she logged in as me. She said to get back on the computer tomorrow, or in a few days, and hit that done button again to get the system to accept it. That acceptance is what will initiate the shipping. SOOO..make sure you get that done button to go away.

Why do you have to wait a month? The CM I spoke with last told me once I get that done button to go away (which should just take a few days...just glitch in the system), that will initiate the shipping...and she said they are literally shipped almost overnight. BUT...I've been told SOOO many incorrect things by CMs now that I do take it with a grain of salt....So I'm interested in hearing why you have to wait a month. I'm so thankful for all the people on here who really know what's going on!

And you're sure you clicked all the way through the modify check in process? Did you try logging out completely and signing back in to modify? It may not have popped up on its own. Did you click on the magic band section? Are you using the website or the app? The app is wacky sometimes. Try the website if you haven't already. We have the same date. I don't know why it wouldn't be working.

Also....after you try to modify check-in, scroll way down. I think that's where I saw it (not real obvious...I might have missed it if I wasn't desperately looking for it).

I might have told you that. That is what I've read, but maybe it isn't always true. I would love to get them sooner. Of course, my family can't decided what names to put on the back, so I'm still customizing. We at least know which colors we want.
