A garden view RR is showing availability for 12/16 - 12/24...unfortunatly that is the only category showing availabilty...still stalking for a preferred room.

Did you book on-line or call? I keep searching on-line but nothing shows up, so I guess it is back to calling. Ugh!

I checked online at 6 am and saw all types of Royal rooms available....standard, garden view, river view...but I called in right at 7 am and got through immediately!

I already had the CB resort booked for our dates Dec. 13-16 in a standard room. So for an extra $100, I got the resort I wanted, plus it will be my daughter's 7 th birthday. I think to stay in a Royal Room would be magical for her!

Don't give up...keep trying!

I keep reading how a lot of you are getting the FD at POR for your dates! Congratulations to all of you.

Unfortunately, I have not been so lucky. I keep checking online and call every couple of days but still nothing for my dates. I sometimes worry that because we have already booked and paid for the DDP that we aren't a priority. As a business it would make sense to give new bookings a priority to bring more money in. They already have our money!!

Does this make sense?

In any case, I'll keep trying and I hope we can get the FD for our dates. Changing resorts is not an option, unfortunately.

We have had to upgrade from standard royal room to pool view but our TA is still stalking on our behalf to get us standard

I know how you feel, but do not give up!!!! We booked our package with dining before I even knew if discounts would come out. We originally booked at POFQ.

Anyways, last Thursday when I started calling at 7am I just got busy signals and the website for me was down. By the time I could access the website, there were no rooms available at POR or CS, so I booked CB.....but I just wasn't feeling it and I kept checking the website throughout the next few days, looking for anything at Riverside. I had made the decision to switch to Pop when I clicked on POR and there it was.

So...DO NOT GIVE UP!!!

I was hoping for just a regular standard room to save a few bucks, but now I am seriously excited about the standard Royal Room we got!

I was hoping we could get a standard royal room, as that is what we had before and when you included free dining (we originally intended on doing QSDP) we could stay three nights with FD for the same price as two nights with QSDP. Now we are paying a bit more than originally planned but back where we want to be. So excited
