I am going the same dates but until the 24th. The only conference I saw was a Lady's lacrosse group. I think that it was around the 20th. I am hoping no other groups book. I have never stayed at CSR but hearing stories has gotten me worried about it.

I have heard mostly good things...people are going to say something negative about every resort...I chose CSR due to feedback of many people saying this was their moderate of choice.

We tape it so there is no chance of our grandkids seeing it. LOL. My DH and I watch the news and say, "Wow--this is just like an episode of South Park..."

So I realized I never answered my own question about what we all do for a living...so I'll give it a shot here.

I am in charge of Research/Market Intelligence for Travel & Tourism in West Virginia.

I'll actually be in Richmond in a couple of weeks to attend a Travel Forum for Tourism Marketing Professionals.

Of course, my mind will be on what comes one short week after I'm back...

I am an Intake Coordinator at an Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation hospital (physical rehab -strokes, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries ECT) and do all the insurance verification and precertification as well as Medicaid and verifying Medicare benefits. I have the job no one else wants but I love

For over a week, I have checked the site so many times a day...now, I keep doing it! The site being down makes me wonder what is happening...and I already have free dining!

I'm wondering if maybe they are releasing more free dining? I'm not looking for myself but I booked 7 family members at CS and would love to move them to POR since the rest of us are at POFQ. I just need a little more pixie dust to make everything perfect!

Last night I finally got another night with free dining at POR (garden view-AB). So now we are at November 17-23. We really wanted November 17-27, so I guess I'll just keep trying and see what happens. If we don't get it, we'll spend the last few nights off site. The funny thing is that I found my exact dates with free dining through another supplier, just wanted to stick with Disney though.

Disney is doing system enhancements. They began at 9pm EST last night and will continue until this afternoon...which could mean this evening or maybe even tomorrow.

I'm really nervous about this as well. My kids will be missing 7 days! (gasp!) because we decided to go the week before Thanksgiving and then visit family the week of Thanksgiving. D is now in 7th grade and this is a new school system for us. Other than regular orthodontic appointments however, she never misses school.

We are going Thanksgiving too. I am pulling the boys out for 3 days and I am concerned as well. I already have the principals' permission, but I dread having to tell the teachers. (twins are starting HS this year.) I am going to wait until the 3rd week of school to send the letter and forms since the first 2 are so busy.

Question. What exactly happens when I pay the trip off? Do the tickets come in the mail or do we pick those up at the hotel? Any benefits to paying the trip off early?

If know if you are booked through Disney, you will get your tickets when you check in. I have found no benefit whatsoever, to paying off your trip early.

Just a note for those families of 5 trying to get POR. Don't give up. I lost count of how many times I've called. No luck Thursday. No luck Friday. Snagged 4 of my days on Saturday. Added 2 more on Sunday. Added 2 more yesterday, and was just able to add my last night, this morning. Talk about crazy, and yes it was a hassle but I now have my 8 nights I wanted. Good Luck to those still trying to change something.
