Haha, I have no idea what Benny hill is!

If I remember correctly, you were turning 40....so, I am about your age (slightly older) and I have no clue what a Benny Hill chase is.

Comedian Benny Hill had a show on British television in the 70's and 80's. It featured broad, slapstick comedy and one of the best-loved gags was the "run off" at the end of every show. Silly characters (vicar, busty ladies, policemen, etc) chased Benny all over the countryside in fast-motion, with the silly Benny Hill theme music playing in the background. The chase scenes were sped up really fast and played to the tune of yakidy sax. They ran around things many times and was just generally funny. There's all kinda of remade Benny hill chases on YouTube including one of Pluto. Look them up.

I unfortunately know who Benny hill is. When I was younger my father used to watch it but I think it was more for the half clothed ladies. What I remember most was the scenes that were sped up and Benny hills buddy, an old man he used to slap on the head all the time

I have to share....when I originally booked with my FD pin I was not able to get our whole stay at POFQ so I did 4 nights of room only....today I was able to get FD for all but the first night so doing room only for that night...which really isn't a big deal, since it takes us all to travel and we won't arrive until about 7 at night. We will just have to check out and then check in the day after we arrive!

Okay Friends...time for your opinion! In VERY important Matters!

I am thinking of biting the bullet and doing MVMCP again!
I have a choice;

1. Go after Animal Kingdom, 11/14: We have early 9:15 Safari breakfast....Last year we close Animal Kingdom down...so We need to leave their and goto POLY to get dressed for the party....

2. Go Friday 11/15: I have an early Cindy's ressie, but I have 2 others that week, so no biggie to cancel. I was thinking this day, make it a sleep in morning, and take advantage of the longer night hours. My only concern is crowds at a Friday party....(and during the day. Day arrive at park 1-2?

Your input is greatly appreciated!

P>S I forget if you have to leave the park to get admission to the party or if you can just get you wristband in park before it starts....

OMG! I am so excited! I e mail Disney several days ago telling them how disappointed I am that my reservation which I've had since February does not qualify for free dining or a resort discount. I am staying at BLT in a one bedroom theme park view. The phone rang this morning and the caller ID said Disney's Art Animation. So I answered and it was a man named Corbit telling me they received my e mail and they were giving me free dining! WOO HOO! So glad I e mailed them. Made my day

Corbit called me last night. FD at POR for Nov. 11-19th for 10 people. This after an email to Disney when we didn't get free dining and had to split up to different resorts.

All I did was e mail them and tell them how disappointed I was that my resort room type did not qualify for free dining or room discount and asked for some magic and for them to reconsider and I got free dining. Saved me $1240. YAY

Has anyone heard any info regarding the re-opening of the California Grill?? It's someplace I've always wanted to go, but have never been able to. Now that I'm going in October with free dining I thought I would have a chance to get in. The last I've heard is that they were supposed to reopen August 31st, but they are still not taking reservations (online or over the phone). Has anybody heard anything?? Seems like this remodel is taking forever!!

I would probably opt for the Friday sleep in day. Less tired that way. Aren't those low crowds that time of November too?
