We are at MK the first day, do you know where I exchange my voucher in this park? You are such a wealth of knowledge and have helped make the planning a lot easier ... thank you Pluto :cheer2:

I believe it is in exposition hall, but again not positive. I know you can preview photos there. That is where I was going to go, my plan B was to grab a pp photographer on Main Street and ask.:upsidedow

Before I went, I searched for where these locations were and could only find vague answers. These places were just my "best guesses" for each park. So if anyone can confirm exactly where they are please let us know. The girl who helped me at Epcot, it was her first time seeing one of these vouchers.

You do not HAVE to have a reservation, but I wanted to play it on the safe side and not have to wait. I called 407-WDW-STYLE to schedule. It was so nice. My son screamed the whole time, but the guy was a pro. They save all the hair and put it in a muslin bag and they give you a certificate and a pair of Mickey ears embroidered with "First Haircut". All this for only $18; so glad I had it done.:thumbsup2

So fun!!!!!:rotfl: PLUTO, DID I SEE IN YOUR NEW TICKER THAT YOU HAVE ANOTHER TRIP PLANNED?????????:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

Just have to share my excitement with my fellow Disney addicts...I just booked my Keys to the Kingdom tour. Couldn't get my first choice of dates but it's all good. This is a little out of the box for me considering I am going by myself while DH and DD go golfing. Hope it isn't too awkward!! I am really looking forward to doing this and feeding my WDW love.:lovestruc

That sounds incredible to me!!!!:thumbsup2

Theeeerrrreeee Heeeeeeeeewrrrrreeeee....

Actually it was Experiment 626........

On another note....

I finally got the exact BOG I needed thanks to the cancelled ADR thread . And now I HAVE NOTHING TO DO EVERYDAY!!!!!!!

So I figured I would start to plan the surprise for the kids. We surprise them the day we leave.

So far all I came up with was making our Rental car look like a giant Mickey. I am not in love with the idea, it needs DIS tweaking..... I am really good with poster board and paint and can easily male Mickey ear , eyes and tail for the car.....

Anyone else got any suggestions!!!

Fun!!!!:cool1:

Ok cool! I think we're going to AK our first day. Kind of a low key day. Do you know where the camera place is there? Can the resorts exchange the voucher?

Pluto's correct - the camera place is just inside AK on the right. It's also a souvenir shop so it can get a little crazy in there if a lot of people are in shopping mode. Have a magical time on your vacation.

Haha I do that all the time just for fun.

You seen my YouTube page? I have lots of older rides on there. I can't believe I carried that big VHS camera around for a whole week back then. But it was fun!

I was watching the ones from Undercover Tourist. No, I didn't see your page. Didn't think to look actually! I'll have to check it out.
It is fun seeing the old rides. And the new ones too. Do you have a good ride-on of Peter Pan's Flight? I guess it is a hard one to video but they were all just SO dark.
The main one I was disappointed about last night was Test Track! I'm not sure how everyone else feels, but really liked how it was before and thought my boys would really enjoy it. This just seemed kinda blah (as far as story-line) to me.
I was actually surprised that I liked the Under the Sea Mermaid ride. No one I've talked to has liked it, so I was expecting the worst!
And I watched Soarin' several times...I do so miss that ride!

I was just going to ask the same. I know I could probably look this up easily enough, but I'm sure someone here already knows. : )

The camera place in MK is in Town Hall (same building as Tony's Town Hall Restaurant) just to the right after you go through the little tunnel to enter the park. It's to the right as you enter the building.

My 4 yr old DGD loved Peter Pan's Flight ride - and she's afraid of the dark. She also liked Test Track. The "pre-ride" is definitely different, but it was fun to design your own car. For the group we were in, the car my GDG actually got top score for eco-friendly and top score over all! (My DD & I got top for speed, but were pretty much at the bottom for eco-friendly. LOL)
We had to ride the Little Mermaid Under the Sea Ride twice - DGD loved it. It's a cute ride and has a cool pre-ride interactive thing with the crabs.

Yes!! My first time EVER without a child in over 13 years!!! So, I may actually be a little more excited about this than our DW trip! We were considering a Disney cruise but my husband wanted to be totally kid free so we are going to Sandals Jamaica.pirate:

Hi Sylk!!!:wave2: I've missed ya! How was your trip???pixiedust:

They definitely made Test Track darker! highlighted with touches of neon. You do get to design your own car before getting on the ride and then on the ride it "tests" several functions of your car-aerodynamics, speed, eco-friendliness, maneuverability, etc. and then in the end, compares how your car did to everyone else. They give you a card to load your design on and then scan the card before getting on the ride, but thanks to the Magic Man Dave, I found out you can use your Magic Band instead.
I loved Journey of the Little Mermaid ride!:upsidedow

Hey guys thanks for listing the BOG info. We have decided to only do one day of F&W and spend the second day that we had planned for Epcot and do MK. We were able to get a BOG lunch thanks to the instructions for FP+.

We were really struggling to use dining credits and I was going to just blow them off but with some creative planning we have figured out some ways to make the plan fit our usual eating style.

The only thing I will have to wait on is asking at the Foodcourts if I can do the continental breakfast for a CS credit. I can't eat eggs, and I don't like pancakes/waffles/pastries/French toast. I'm hoping the'll still let me do a bagel/fruit/milk or juice. I don't want to use my snack credits as I plan to maximize them by using them at F&W. If worse comes to worse I'll just order a breakfast and eat the bread and bacon off it.

The level of pre planning that goes with DDP is crazy. I don't know how you guys do this every year.

Fun!!:cool1:

Okay...A question since I have decided I will be in a depression after our trip is over and there is no trip in the works.... My kids have been on a year round schedule since they were little and next year will switch to the traditional calendar when my oldest starts high school.:scared1:

If you choices for a 2015/16 trip were: Jan 1st week, April 7th week (spring break), any week in July, or December 22 week until Jan 1, which would you choose?

This is assumming, I don't take anyone out of school.:thumbsup2

Really looking at crowds more than weather. Thanks!:)

Same situation here. As I sit here being task-master over the 40 hours of "independent study" my DD10 has for the two weeks we have taken her out of school, I realize I really, REALLY do not want to do this again. Especially not X3 if the other two DD's are no longer year-round schedule next year. Our DD10 has three book reports done, one compare/contrast essay done, 30 pages of math done, 4 sections of science complete, 5 pages of Spanish, 60 spelling words mastered... and we're only half way finished. :scared:

Need to decide between early August, mid-March, or Thanksgiving week for next year. Best option of those???

My vote would be mid-March. Less of a crowd than the other two and the temps will be perfect- not too hot or cold.;) Oh, and the average rainfall for March is 3.77 inches; August is about twice as much and Nov. is only an inch less. : )

Ok, I've tried asking this in the MNSSHP thread but didn't get the answer I'm really looking for....so I know where to ask :wave2::rotfl:

I want to buy our MNSSHP tickets onsite a few days before the party so we know the weather will be good. I have a date in mind, but I have others if needed like one sells out or something. Ok, here's my question. I want to buy our party tickets while we are at the MK a few days before. Do we do that at Guest Services? and what time would be best so as not have to wait in a really long line? (obviously not at park opening :scared:) I was thinking maybe afternoon maybe around 3pm...?

Others have said buy them at Pop's concierge desk but what are their hours? I thought it might be more convenient to do it in park. Any thoughts?

Thanks!! Mid-march it will be! Now I just have to bring that plan up to the family at the perfect moment, perhaps during our last Wishes viewing next week. pixiedust:

Not sure about best place to purchase the tickets though. I know that POR has a Concierge desk where you can buy tickets. I don't know if the value resorts have something like that or not.

I think you would have to purchase tickets at the MK ticket and transportation center. If you were taking resort transportation, you would need to take monorail from MK to the ticket and transportation center. All values have a lobby concierge and they do have pretty liberal hours and they will get tickets for you. That may be the easiest.:upsidedow

Try City Hall at Magic Kingdom. I'm pretty sure you can buy them there.

It is a separate website and not associated with MDE. Here is the site... https://beourguestlunch.disney.go.com/ The confirmation number is different than your resort reservation number. It is a 12 digit number that can be found in the url of your online check in page, and on your ME tags if you have any.

Great, thanks so much! So I need to do online check in before I make the FP+?

OMGosh! I bet that is it! I passed by the MK TTC at least 8 times and saw they were selling tickets there, and here is how dumb I am, one time I even thought to myself: "So, if I decided to go at the last minute and I was already in the park, I would have to come ALL the way down here!":joker:

40 more days.....that's all I got to say about that....well atleast until tomorrow when it will be 39 days....:jumping1::jumping1:
