Haven't done that. My treat each year is having tea at the Garden View Tea Room at the Grand Floridian. It's lovely!!!

Waaah! I still can't get that FP+BOG lunch. : ( You're killing me here! That looks soooo scrumptious!

I just got our FP+BOG lunch. When I was speaking with the tech help desk she gave me the website address and then my 12 digit reservation number. There was a bit of a wait time on the phone, but nothing compared to what we went through for FD.

Now I have to make the regular FP+ res. DH wants to wait and do that day of, I am afraid to wait with the crowds. Just curious what everyone else is doing.

I say make the FP+ res's. You can always change them day of. I know I will most likely need to but, honestly with the GAC card changes, FP+ may be more helpful than the new system since we can do it right on our phones or ipod touches and not have to run around looking for kiosks so much. I just picked the ones I thought the kids would NOT want to miss and did not really go by recommended FP rides.

Hilton Honors promotion to be released on October 7. Earn regular points (no bonuses) for one night stays, double points for stays of two nights, triple points for stays of three nights, and quadruple points for stays of four nights or longer. Not a bad deal if you stay at these properties and a good way to rack up lots of points quickly.

Did you use your resort reservation number (the one with letters and numbers) or the 12 digit (number only) one? I did not have the 12 digit one, the tech CM had to pull it up for me when I asked about BOG FP.
I think you are right about making FP+ and changing as we need them. It is just difficult since the times offered seem to be during our TS res.

I used the numeric reservation that comes with a room only res and also found and tried the corresponding numeric number for my letter/number reservation number for my package res when doing online check in. Neither one worked. : (

That actually isn't dinner in the photo, that is lunch. It's the braised pork and strawberry cupcake. I ordered the French onion soup as a snack credit. Lunch comes on glass plates wit real silverware. It was amazing and yes it's a counter service dining credit.

that lunch looks SO good. I just went in and changed my BOG FP lunch preorder to the pork. Good thing we have an early lunch time (11:35-11:50) because we have a 5:30PM ADR that night at CM for my niece's birthday.
Skipping the soup, the pork and cupcake look like more than enough food.

that lunch looks SO good. I just went in and changed my BOG FP lunch preorder to the pork. Good thing we have an early lunch time (11:35-11:50) because we have a 5:30PM ADR that night at CM for my niece's birthday.
Skipping the soup, the pork and cupcake look like more than enough food.

And don't forget a new cupcake is on the menu. It's a chocolate cupcake topped with The Grey Stuff (it's delicious. Don't believe me? Ask the dishes!)

Yes and for some reason they had to give me two roses for that. They told me to do the counter service on one rose and the snack on another. Just tell them at the podium. I'm guessing if you use a magic band then they may give you a rose for the snack credit, unless they fix the system to do both at once. Just tell them what you want to do and they'll know.

You have sold me on BOG that pork dish looks amazing? Did you have that and was it as good a it looks lol . I overlooked that dish first time I looked at the menu. Ty

Put the cursor on the "Modify Checkin" tab (on the right, the icon is a little "ring for service" bell) and let it hover there.

A little box should appear on the bottom left hand corner that has the internet address.

After "resort-reservation-id", there is a 12 digit number surrounded by back slashes. THIS IS YOUR 12 DIGIT RESERVATION NUMBER YOU NEED TO USE ON THE BOG PAGE TO GET YOUR FP+!

True. So true. I most certainly never want to relive this past summer, forever to be remembered as The Summer of Waiting for Pin Codes. And then the whole Disney Visa offer not being made as it "was supposed to".
But then again, we all would not have had all that wonderful bonding time.

Not just the views. Have a look at the food, it was amazing.

I have a FP for Nov 18 for lunch & keep changing my selections. This dish being one of them, lol, but it looks huge. Maybe I should just stick with the croque Monsieur lol.

This is exactly why we chose an early lunch to, we have a 5pm ADR at 'Ohanas. DH first want to be full from lunch when we go. Lol
