Happy to post my 9000th post in the thread where I spent the most of my time. Magic bands arrived this morning!

We are down to just 29 little days until we are back at POP, our home away from home.

BTW, Kat, we picked up a second rainbow loom and over 4,000 more bands last night. We've officially lost our minds.

Mine is the red one, DH has the grey, DD picked yellow (her favorite color since she knew what colors even were ), and DS has the blue, also his favorite color.

The kids peeled their grey part off to make it smaller, and I cut nearly all of the grey end off to make mine smaller without losing the grey edge.

I know the Magic Bands are waterproof, which I assume means you can swim with them. However, what about a jacuzzi? Can you take one in there or is it too hot?

Inquiring minds want to know?

Found this review online, about halfway down the page, she says she went in the pool and hot tub without any issues.

RFID is pretty stable chip technology. They are testing it in products shipped in a variety of carriers and all sorts of conditions. Most micro chips can easily stand temperature above 120 F. ( and as cold at 33F).

I do not think you would be comfortable in a 120F hot tub Black.....

More interesting is the effect of magnets on the bands.......

And I got my email from Disney this am saying they shipped.

And I got my email from Disney this am saying they shipped.

Mine didn't come on a truck. Mine came from a UPS van, and I had the email from Disney yesterday morning with the tracking number also saying "by 10:30am today", so you should get them this morning.

So you cut them to make them smaller? Am I going to mess mine up???

You don't have to cut them if you don't want to. Mine was way too long. The kid size would easily have worked for me, but I didn't want to lose the grey edge. Without cutting it, it was hard for me to put on because it wrapped around my wrist almost twice, so I just got rid of the bulk. I practiced a few holes out from what I really wanted it to be before I cut it in the right place. I figured if it didn't work well, I would just remove the grey completely, but it turned out awesome! It fits perfectly now. It still overlaps a few holes, but no bulkiness at all. Here is what it now looks like on the end I cut, and this end goes under the band anyway, so it doesn't really have to be perfect...

I did look for you, but alas, you were hiding too well. I have been wearing my mickey sun visor with a lime green mickey head stuck on it, but no one has come up & asked me if I was a DIS-er. I swear I've been showering every day, but no one has come up to me anyway. Of course, after about an hour at the park, the morning shower is pretty much only a memoryl.
BOG dinner was awesome - DD & DSIL had the shrimp & scallops; I had the steak - all were really really good. Best meal we've had! Btw, the "grey stuff' really is delicious!
Going to Epcot today. Breakfast tomorrow at Chef Mickey's before heading home. Will be sad to have to leave. What do I do now that trip is over so no more plans to make for awhile?

MBs are on the truck out for delivery! Checked email this morning at 5am, Got the UPS email then just a few minutes later as I was on my email got the Disney email saying my Magic Bands were on their way! So excited to get them today! Shipped really fast, I was thinking maybe Monday. So here's my time frame in case anyone is wondering. Oct. 19th last day to customize, when I logged in on the 19th it said being customized and will ship soon. Then today (20th) emails saying shipped to me and arriving also today on the 20th!

Hope the truck has both my bands and our Disney shirts package we ordered that are also supposed to be delivered today. If I could just get our Mickey Mail in the mail today I will have hit the Disney Trifecta

Just FYI, I had two MB shipments and both arrived between 11am-12pm, so I guess the 10:30am does not apply to all, so don't panic if they are not on time.
