Greetings fellow Budgetears!

I am about to book a spring trip for the fam to the Happiest Place on Earth.

I was trying to choose between free dining or finding out what deal there will be for the Military. Well, now my hubby has been offered a part-time gig at the new Disney Outlet store when it opens next month.

Do part-time Disney Store Cast members get WDW discounts? Should I wait to book?

You really need to run the numbers. With FD you have to buy a minimum ticket purchase and pay for the room at rack rate.
With the military discount you don't need a ticket purchase. Are you using the military salute tickets?
I don't know about CM discounts.

A lot of it depends on which level of resort you stay at and how many people are in your group.

For us the Military Discount was cheaper than the Free Dining deal by $600 BEFORE even upgrading the 2 day required tickets to the Military Salute Tickets. We don't spend $600 on food in a week even at Disney.

Your best bet is probably the Cast Member 40% to 60% room discount and the basic DDP at about a 40% discount. And either use free tickets or buy them at Company D at 10% discount.
