Free Dining Lure Guests out of October?

Does anyone else think that the Free Dining offer will lure people from staying in October, like say Columbus Day weekend, into staying in September? I am hoping for this. I really wish we could go during free dining, but school comes first for me, and I really can't fall behind. Anyone else have thoughts on the subject?

I hate to break it to you, but I doubt it. I have friends who are arriving Sept. 30 and staying through the following weekend - which, by the way, includes Columbus Day. In other words, it is extremely possible that there will be MORE people there from Sept. 30 through Oct. 9 like our friends.

I also rather imagine many people will take advantage of a four-day week and travel from Oct. 7-15.

Well free dining was the deceiding factor that said YEs we will go to Disney this year. Sept 30-Oct 6, Halloween Party, Food wine festival and free food, what more can you ask for.....
We are leaving before the weekend though.

There was free dining last year in Sept. We went Oct 8 - 17th and it was very crowded. The Halloween party was sold out on the 13th.

I'm not sure but our trip runs from Sep 23rd to Oct 9th. Hope its not too busy tho
