Hello everyone & welcome to my October 2014 Pre-trip Report! I am so excited to begin writing all about our upcoming trip. I have been planning this trip for well over a year and I seem to tweak things daily. I'm sure a lot of you can relate to my planning obsession! So without further adieu, let us get on to the introductions.

The What

A glorious 10 day trip to the World during Epcot's Food & Wine Festival! We are also visiting Universal/IOA for a day (Shhh! Don't tell Mickey ) Another first for us will be Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

The Where

Port Orleans French Quarter! We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside on our last trip & we were lucky enough to receive a free dining pin that included POFQ on this trip!

All of these, minus Kona Cafe for dinner, will be new to us so I am SUPER excited! Here is the list & what I am most excited about trying off the menu

10/1: Kona Cafe - Been here before but DBF & I are in love with the Teriyaki-style New York Strip

10/3: California Grill - I am excited to try Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli, Sushi, Pork Two Ways, Seasonal Tasting: Heirloom Apple, & Warm Homemade Fritters

10/5: Hollywood Brown Derby - We have been wanting to eat here since our first trip! I am most excited to try Our Famous Cobb Salad & Grapefruit Cake

10/6: Boma Breakfast - We love dinner here & for breakfast I am dying to taste the Pecan Praline Sauce and French Toast Bread Pudding

10/7: Yachtsman Steakhouse - I can't make my mind up on what to try here

10/8: Yak & Yeti - DBF has been begging to eat here. We will be trying Wok-Fried Green Beans, Duck with Anandapur Glaze, & Fried Wontons

10/9: Liberty Tree Tavern Lunch - DBF & I make the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake recipe all the time & honestly that is the only reason we are lunching here!

10/10: Kona Cafe Breakfast - I have been wanting to eat here for a while as well & I'm leaning towards Macadamia-Pineapple Pancakes & 100% Kona Coffee - French Press Pot. I would like to get some Tonga Toast one day & The Samoan sounds amazing but I always have a sweet tooth at breakfast

We are eating at a lot of 2 TS restaurants this go around because we'd like to eat from the Food & Wine booths for dinner on a couple of nights.
