I just have a few questions about the sining plans and the Food & Wine Festival.

1. Can one use dining credits towards food purchases at the food booths?

2. If applicable, which dining plan is best used for the above stated purpose?

3. Does free dining exclude the use of credits towards F&WF food purchases?

4. Which category of credit am I most likely to use at a food booth? Snack? Table Service?

Thanks for any information you have to offer!

1. You can use snack credits at the food booths to purchase any non-alcoholic foods and beverages. It's a good use of snack credits since the prices of the eligible items range up to $7.50 (e.g. the lobster roll and the griddled lobster at the Hops & Barley booth).

2. All the dining plans have snack credits included: the CS and regular dining plans have 1 snack credit per person per night and the Deluxe dining plan has 2 snack credits per person per night.

3. No, it doesn't matter whether it is a paid or free dining plan. There is no way to tell whether it's a paid or free plan.

4. Snack credits only at the food booths. They do not accept Counter Service or Table Service credits at the booths.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I appreciate it!

Just one more clarifying question: I could have sworn that I heard somewhere that one is able to use, say, 2 CS credits to count as 1 TS credit, is that right? If so, does it work the other way, too? Can I use 1 CS credit as 2 snack credits?

Thanks again!

1. No, you can never trade up by using CS credits for a TS meal.

2. You have a better chance of using a TS credit for a CS meal, but you will only get 1 CS meal.

3. Maybe, perhaps, possibly, it depends, maybe not. It has gotten more difficult to use CS credits for snacks and it really depends on the CM. People have had the better luck using CS credits for snacks in the food court at a resort. Ask the cashier if it can be done and how many snacks per credit. Reports have varied from a 1 for 1 exchange up to 3 snacks for 1 CS when it's been allowed.

You can also get a continental breakfast for a CS credit: a beverage, a pastry and a fruit (or something).
