Free Dining Autumn 2016

Helloo,

I have been reading on American blogs that Disney normally run a free dining offer in spring for the autumn of that same year (ie if they open it in April 2016 it will be for arrivals between September and November 2016). Do they run this offer for UK guests as well or just in America?

I have actually already booked through Disney and on these same sites they say that new deals can be added to existing reservations. Has anyone had any experience of doing this with a UK reservation?

If a) they don't offer it or b) they won't let me change my deal I won't be too upset but just wondering if anyone has done this in previous years?

No You can't add it to a UK reservation.

US free dining is open to anyone to book BUT you need to book with US disney online or by phone or with a US travel agent.

UK and US disney bookings are separate, different terms and conditions etc. Nothing to stop you cancelling your existing booking (lose deposit) and booking US offer if it suits you better.

Some people book with US disney then convert it to a free dining reservation if the offer is released for their dates and resort, that is what they mean about adding to an exisiting booking.

US free dining is usually released April/May for same year but very restricted dates/limited availability. We have used US offer twice.

So they never release autumn/fall dining as a UK offer? just US?

Oh well, we weren't in a position to book last year when they were offering free dining for the UK, and with the hotel & ticket prices rising in 2017 we didn't save anything by waiting another year to get dining for free, if they even offer it. Thanks for your reply.

UK dining is always released a year in advance so most dates in 2016 were available to book with free dining from April 15. Offer ended Oct 15 from memory. Deal is better at the start eg $200 gift card too.

If you have missed UK free dining for 2016 you can still book US free dining if it is released for your dates. Keep checking, usually released late April/May. If your booking is with UK disney then I think deposit is only £50 a person so it may be worthlosing it and rebooking.

UK disney has a free night offer on at the minute so if you have recently booked you will have saved on the room which you wouldn't get with a free dining offer.

UK free dining offer for 2017 should be released April 2016 based on previous years.

We're looking at booking the US free dine offer,
We currently have beach club booked with UK disney,
Bur were looking to achieve a cheaper stay, ans decided on 8nights at universal and 9 at Disney stayibg at carribean beach instead to get full free ddp.
We will then just move our current trip with UK disney to next yr.
So won't lose any money
