Free dining at POP after easter??????

Hi,

We are looking into visiting after easter around 23rd and it has been suggested that free dining was offered for this time! anyone know for sure and when did the announcement come out?

Free dining has never been offered anytime except Aug/Sept. as far as I can recall - maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think so.

Maybe someone else can confirm.

I believe the pp is correct.....free dining has only been offered in Aug/Sept as that is a "slow time" with kids going back to school and people pretty much done with vacations. It's Disney's way of trying to fill rooms by offering free food during a not-so-busy time .

Not sure who suggested that, maybe the person was confused by the fact that the Free Dining announcement is usually made in early April and is valid for bookings made through late June.

There were rumors (most likely simply conjecture) that Disney might expand free dining this year given the economic climate, but nothing ever came of it.

As other have said, Free dining has only ever been offered in August and September( Hurricaine Season).It is usually officially announced for each year in April, but only for Sept and Aug .It has never been offered any other time of year.it does not mean it won't ever be offered, but it has not in the past.

well if WDW has hurricanes problems in June, July or Aug - they might offer it - but just for a few years.

it is offered in late August and Sept - because the hurricanes that hit Disney went by in those months.

now florida definitely has problems with hurricanes from June to Nov - but only Sept has been a problem for WDW.

agree.... only August/September and every year it seems to be less and less week it is offered..

Last year during your time phrame Disney offered...when you purchase a package with a base ticket they threw in hoppers & water parks n'more.
