We are booked for August using a pass holder rate and currently hold DVC annual passes. However, I know that this is the free dining time if you book a package. I just realized that we will need to buy tickets for three of our family members that are coming with us in December.

Does anyone know, if we were to change our August reservation to a package to get the free dining, will they issue us the tickets separately since we don't need them for this trip. Also, if issued separately, would they have our names on them or would they be generic like the ones you get from Undercover tourist and other ticket outlets? We were thinking we could pass the tickets to the family members that need them in December.

The amazing thing is that the cost of our current campsite under pass holder rate plus 3, 10-day park hoppers is very comparable to the Free Dining package with the campsite, tickets and dining.

Yes..that is what I was planning to do but we don't need the tickets for our August trip because we have Annual Passes..so we would use the resort reservation, use the free dining and wanted to pass the MYW tickets to three of our family members going back down with us in December. I am trying to figure out if it is possible to save the tickets and still use the free dining.

Thanks:goodvibes

They are attached to your reservation and will be on your kttw card.

You can get the tickets separated, but Free Dining does not include campsites at FW, only the cabins.

The issue is that Disney would loose too much money since you can book 10 to a site.

Also some people would book a throw away site just to get the free dining.

Hi,

I just checked with Disney and you can book a campsite as part of the MYW package and they will separate out the park tickets for you from your KTW card.

New question: has anyone done this and do the separate tickets have your name on them or are they generic park tickets that indicate they are adult park hopper?

I tried to get Free Dining on a campsite and couldn't for Sept, so we opted to wait until 2012. Are you sure Free Dining is included, or are you staying in a Fort Wildnerness Cabin? That does include Free Dining.

I would think if they separate out the tix they would just be tix, but I'd confirm it with them.

Yes Disney has never and probably never will have free dining for a campsite. Cabin yes Campsite no.

The tix will be on KTTW stock and I think have a name but since they are unused, anyone can use them in the future.

Thanks..we are going to scrap the idea because I don't want to take the risk of the tickets still being tied to us. Thanks for all of the input.:thumbsup2

Go to any guest services and they can pull the tickets off the room key and give you a paper ticket. It will not have a name on it. I've done this several times and have also given a couple of those tickets away.

To get free dining you could book everyone with two day tickets, which is the minimum required to get free dining. Then when you get down there, upgrade everyone else's tickets to whatever they need. On the last day drop by a guest services and have them pull the two day tickets off your room key. They say to wait until the last day to pull the tickets off, because in the past some CMs have messed up people's dining credits.

1. Yes in my PP my example of them being on the card KTTW stock is if you did it a your resort.

2. The issue for the OP, we think, is that there is no free dining at FW for campsites.
