There is definately variations because they are allowed to book 2 deals not just one. They are able to book a room discount as well as free dining. I believe they have always been offered no free dining with values...QSDP with mods(rnemember they got notice of the QSDP first a few years back)...reg DDP with the Deluxes.

Usually the UK discounts are more generous because they stay a lot longer, many times 2-3 weeks. The steeper discounts work to assure WDW that the UK visitors remain at WDW longer and don't wander off too quickly to those "other" FL attractions

Thanks. I was wondering if we were going to have the same promo. I would have to change my moderate resort to a deluxe. I really like Coronado.

I have been going every year since 2000. I can honestly tell you I booked my trip through a TA the first few years and then got the hang of it and did it myself through the Disney site. I thought the trip was very reasonable, even due to the fact that I was traveling solo and paying 175% of the double room rate just for myself.

I didn't even know what pin codes were until someone introduced me to the website when they announced a few days early that the 4/3 deal extended to when I go the week after Thanksgiving.

I ended up upgrading from POR to a deluxe vacation studio at SSR. Boy, was I disappointed. It was very nice, but just not me; I love, love, love POR. This year, nothing is going to get me to change from POR. I have paid my trip in full already and unless there are discounts at POR, I am sticking with what I got.

But it is still fun to play the waiting game with everyone else!

I haven't stayed at POR, but we've done POFQ and will be staying there again this year...love love love it. I love the intimacy of it since it's small, love how lush the landscaping is, love the entire theme of it.

I love POFQ.....it is so quaint. I love my CSR........we stayed CBR last year. Everyone complained on the size, but it wasn't bad. We stayed in a Pirate Room. The kids loved it!!!!!

You will love the pirate rooms. Even though they are located in Trinadad South (furthest from the food court), but it is truly not a bad walk.....no more then 15 minutes.

Thanks my DD6 is very excited! We are too and the pool looks amazing. I am not worried about the walk...hopfully we will get a building close to Trinadad North but if not Oh Well! We LOVE walking and exploring the resort.

We are staying at CBR-pirates this year for the first time. We always stay at POR....LOVE that resort. I am a little nervous about CBR but I think we will like it!

We are staying at CBR for the first time this year too. But not in a pirate room (my boys are 17 and 20). But when I showed the pics of the pirate rooms to my DS17 (who will be 18 in two weeks) he said, "those rooms look really cool, I'd like to stay in one of those".

Doesn't is usually go to disney visa holders first like for a few days and Then to public...atleast that has been my experience in past is that is any indication.
Have to tell ya though...I always learn about it on DIS first THEN thru Disney Visa Nothing like a heads up, the DIS is great for info!

By the way what happened to that "the dis rocks little thingy"
