I made reservations with the plans that we would be driving to WDW and we would be having to have an overnight stay on the way there and on the way back, adding two more nights to our trip. With much talk and realizing flying was cheaper than we had anticipated we are now thinking of flying. If so, we thought about adding another night at WDW. If I called would they have to totally redo everything and would I lose my free dining plan? Thanks

Well, that is a good question. I don't know the answer. But I would like to. I would say just call Disney. Tell them you want to add a day to your vacation. I am thinking (but I am not sure) that you will not lose free dining and you won't have to redo the whole thing. BUT I think if you are less than 45 days to your trip, they might charge you for a change.

Your best bet is to just call. If you have to lose your free dining, then you can call back or decide not to make the change.

If there is any risk of losing the dining it should only be in the canceling of a reservation. You should be able to add to it but if you can't without incurring a fee all you do is make a seperate booking for the one night. That way the worst that could happen is you might have to change rooms although they will do everything they can to keep you in the same room. Our last trip, we had 3 ressies over 15 nights since we had annual passes and wanted three nights smack in the middle without the dining so we could do Universal, IOA and Sea World. Worked wonderfully although we had to buy 4 base tickets.

I agree.

Same advice.... call them..

I would think that you would not have the dining plan on the couple of days that you add.
