Free days are the best days! January Trip Extravaganza!

I'm the girlfriend he is referring to!

I'll post some pictures so that we're not mystery people making a random trip report. Also, so you can say Hi if you see us!

Just some random stuff about us:

We met through a t-shirt company (odd, we know). Our first date was to see Wall-E! This is our first big trip together and we cannot wait.

Me (Jenna): This will be my ninth trip to WDW! Two of those trips were for cheering. I went with my family back in April. I can never get enough. :goodvibes I have stayed at the All Star Music twice and offsite many times. My favorite movie used to be Alice in Wonderland (the original) but Tangled is creeping up close. My favorite park is Magic Kingdom, because I'm the princess of my family. I LOVE the Laugh Factory and I'm not sure of my favorite ride (possibly Expedition Everest or Kali River Rapids). And just for the record, I took this picture after I was in the show Seussical (hence the shirt) my hair is never curly it's very much straight.

Paul: This will be Paul's third trip. He has also been on a Disney Cruise (which I haven't and I'm very jealous). He has stayed at POP before and loved it and begged to stay there this time. He loves the muppets and his favorite movie is Up! He LOVES Disney Hollywood Studios and favorite ride is the Rock N' Rollercoaster.

Hope you both have a great time on your trip!! Your plans sound great. I just want to say one thing, and this is just MY opinion and I know not everyone agrees, but I'll say it lol....not sure if you've done Disney Quest before, but we tried it last time we went and were quite disappointed with it. Just seemed like we paid a lot to get in and then there wasn't much of anything to do. I would say that was the only thing we considered a waste of money on that entire trip. But there were people there having fun, so it might just come down to what types of games you like. But I just wanted to say that.
I wanted to eat at T-Rex this trip, but DS is terrified of Rainforest Cafe and I know they are similar, so we won't be going :( I think the dinosaurs would scare him more than the jungle animals at Rainforest LOL.

Hey Sarah, input is fine! Me and the girlfriend didn't want to do Disney Quest either after looking at the price ($40) and we're only going because we have our friend that is getting us in for free. I've been years ago to Disney Quest and I liked it (I was like 12 or 13 years old) and I feel like I'm going to like it again. The retro games alone is why I like it, and the rest is just a bonus.

Have fun on your trip!! We are there the 12th thru the 17th.

Thanks, you too! Are you staying at POP also? [EDIT: Never mind, just saw your ticker! Haha]

Paul is big into computers (he built his own) and electronics and video games and things like that, so I feel like it's very much up his alley. I have never been, but excited to try it. Like Paul said before, if it wasn't for his friend we would be going at all, so we're very grateful that he's getting us in. I'm SO excited for T-Rex. I love.love.love dinosaurs. When I first brought it up to him I didn't think he would go for it, but he did and I did a happy dance  and made an ADR. I agree about your son though, until he's willing to do rainforest I would stay away from T-Rex. The noises in both restaurants can be extremely scary to little kids, when I was little the Rainforest thunder storm scared me. I'm sure in a few years he'll warm up and you'll be able to do both Rainforest and T-Rex. :goodvibes

I hope your having fun at DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!
I cant wait to hear all about it =)

We leave tomorrowwwww! But of course we both have come down with colds. Maybe a mini miracle will happen and we'll both wake up without sickness tomorrow. Even if we don't, it won't matter we'll still be excited. Yayyyy. We'll make a trip report when we get back. :goodvibes

Back home! We'll do a trip report soon. All-in-all it was an awesome trip. It had a few not so great moments but the good outweighed the bad!
