Free credit report?

Is this available anywhere? The only ones I can find, are the ones you have to pay for. Thanks!

This web page, http://canadian-creditreport.com/freebymail.htm, seems to indicate that you can request a free credit report via regular mail. It also looks like one have to do each one separately.

cslittle999 is correct, I know for a fact that you can get a free report 1 time per year from each of the major CBs, Transunion and Equifax. It must be a request thru snail mail.

If you want to do the Online verion, you have to pay.
