Free child places to WDW!

For the first time, Disney are offering First Child Free packages to WDW for summer 2003, through selected tour operators. Here's the deal:

With Virgin, BA Holidays, Thos Cook, Thomson, Travel City, Airtours and First Choice, the first child gets FREE flight, accommodation and UPH ticket for bookings made between now and November 4 for holidays in Florida from May 1 to october 31. BA are actually ofering TWO free child places when staying at Port Orleans for 14 nights between May 1-14 (a saving, they say, of £1,172). Travel City are offering the child free place only with a 14-night stay at the All Stars from May-October (and you save £820, they say). Contact:

when i read what you said I thought wow thats made my mind up we are def going back next year .....its been two years since we had our first visit and the last two summer holidays have felt flat .......

but when i phoned ba i was told they knew of no deal ...

i tried thomas cooks online booking and the price for a childs place is showing up ...and ive just emailed travel city direct .....

is it a case that the travel agents arent passing on this deal ???

any further info you can supply much appreciated

I've no idea what BA and Co are playing at by saying they don't know about the 'child free' deals. The latest press release is quite clear - special offer available for bookings made bwteen 2 Sept and 4 Nov and valid for holidays between 1 May and 31 Oct 2003.

If anyone tries and still gets noweher, let me know and I'll make some enquiries.

im still waiting word back from travel city direct ...

I phoned the tv travel shop today ......... i booked our airtours holiday with them a couple of years back .....and thry were on the ball back then .......


was told today after the chap did a bit of searching that they knwe nowt of any discounts ..........

so if you can shed any light on this I for one would appreciate it ..

OK folks, Disney's sales/marketing people are looking into this as a matter of urgency. Please let me know if this problem with the tour operators not knowing about the deal continues.

hello again simon ....

well whatever disney is telling the travel agents still isnt getting through ........

just did an online costing using virgin holidays and the price for next summer the same as it was a week ago .....

so called the tv travel shop once again and said i had heard that disney was running a summer child free promotion ....the lady said wait a minute she would check her data base .....5 minutes later ........

nope nothing showed up ......though once again was told the tv trasvel shop will beat any travels agents price ........

Harry, have you tried calling those numbers at the top of the thread direct? It could be there is a direct line facility set up to access the 'child goes' free' deal. Only guessing, but it would make sense to me.

BA gave me a quote for the free child prices but it was still coming out at over £5500!!

When you say free child places, are we talking free child flights or just free child places in the resorts - I thought that children stay free anyway if sharing with two adults?
