Free/cheap WDW area activities

Can anyone point me in the right direction...I'm looking for a list of free/cheap ideas to do at WDW or the surrounding area. We will be in ORL for 4 days but out tickets are very limited so I'm looking for some supplemental activities. I will most likely do those activities in case of rain or after 5pm.

What do you mean, activities? Walking around Lake Eola? Walk from DTD to OKW?

Ride the monorail?

Visit the resorts?

Visit DTD and have a wander?

We are doing the "waterpark after 2pm pass" so We'll only be there for 3 hours.

I would visit the resorts for special events- I thought of Chip n Dale's campfire and someone told me about the Beach Club's movie....any others?
DTD sounds good for the Lego store.

Any other ideas?

I assume you are driving so you might think about heading over to Cocoa Beach about 1 hour away; there is a pier with restaurants and rest rooms to change into swim suits and the world famous Ron Jon Surf shop which is fun to look around in. You could spend a whole afternoon in Cocoa Beach easily.
