I <3 cardstar. I have all my store loyalty cards- kroger, petco, my library card, etc-on my iphone and just scan my phone instead of a card.

I installed it today..tomorrow I plan on adding all my numbers so I can lose the loyalty card wallet!!!!!

Once you have an iPhone or iPod Touch, you can create your own "apps" (which are really links to webpages). Once on the website to which you want to link, hit the "+" and then Add to Home Screen. You will then have the opportunity to give your new "App" a name before finally saving it.

So if you have a discussion board that you go to all the time, you can create a link right from your home screen to your favorite discussion board and have it save your sign on info! I also did this for a link to the AOL TV Guide and DVC Member. -- Suzanne

Letter Bug is a fun game and its free.. Convertbot was free when I down loaded it its GREAT for all kind of conversions.. lots and lots of recipes sites like epicurious, food network, allrecipies . Wild Wild West is a fun free pin ball game too!

Another free app I have is "sleep machine lite". I dock my Itouch each night in a dock with speakers and play one of about 7 sound choices all night. I use "fan" but there are sounds like rain or beach or white noise also. Also, when we travel to Disney world I no longer need to pack a noise maker since all the rooms have an iPod dock in them.

Were you notified that they were free or searched and got lucky?

If you go to your itunes store home when you open itunes...down toward the bottom there is a section labeled free on itunes...click on see all and it has all the free music and tv shows offered on itunes at any given time...the free stuff shows up randomly so you would have to check every so often to find something really good. Shows come up randomly but they also come up a lot at the beginning of seasons with free pilots (even before the show is released on tv)...

thanks I downloaded it and love it! Took a nap this afternoon and went right to sleep with rain playing in the back ground, also love how you can set the timer so it shuts off after a bit.

oh and it barely uses any battery.....that's a good thing!
