Free Apps are usually only offered for a day or two sometimes only hours...with everyone getting new iphones and touches for Christmas and birthdays I thought I would help out with some great free apps.....download them now to your itunes account then install them later

Not all Apps are created equal, download when free check it out if you don't care for it just remove it from your device.


Name to search for is highlighted in bold (I checked each one to make sure they were free at the time I posted and how to find them because sometimes when you search the name of the app itunes will not find the app [go figure-lol ])

I do not have this but it sounds like a great app, it is .99 now no longer free.

I posted this thread for people who do not have their phones or touch up and running but can or do have itunes on their computers so they can download some free apps while they are available because it seems alot of developers seem to only offer them free for a limited time sometimes only hours.

hope this thread helps those peeps.

There is a free app for Princess and the Frog called 'Bayou Beats'. Not sure exactly how it works (I can't download it as I'm on 3G right now) but it looks like a fun little music game that shows off some of the characters from the movie, and also has the Ne-Yo music video for the film.

I'm getting this one to put on DD's iPod Touch for Christmas.

Yes, you will need an Apple ID, and a credit card (or possibly paypal) tied to it. You are actually purchasing the app, at a price of $0.00.

An app my DH use is called BargainBin with Push! which as of now is still free, and will alert you when things go free. Can get annoying if you don't set it up right. You can search for apps you like and if you see an app you like, but is more than you want to pay, you can set it to alert you when it hits a price you want.

no, you do not need a cc but if you do not use a cc you will need to use an itunes card....I think you can get one $15 at walmart

edit: I do think you might be able to download free apps without a cc or a itunes cards

I have also found that many times they will offer TV episodes for free for a short period of time. I have more TV shows on my ipod than songs! I have the pilot for Glee, Modern Family, White Collar just to name a few, plus a few older ones like Arrested Development and Friends.

I seem to spend hours waiting on people, and I love to pull out my ipod and watch TV in the parking lots at schools and in waiting rooms.
