Free 5x7 photo with Disney Visa? Is this still happening?

Hi! My husband and I have used the free 5x7 character photo perk with our Disney Visa a few times. When I was recently looking up the location for it at WDW on the Disney Visa website, it mentions NOTHING about the photo anymore. It says there is a private card member character meet and greet area but nothing about the free 5x7 photo. Does anyone know if this perk has been discontinued? Has anyone used it very recently? I just find it odd that its no longer mentioned on the website. I REALLY like this perk so I hope its not gone!!

Honestly I can't remember the last time if they gave us a print, but I do remember it being added to our MM. So I could see the print going away, if it hasn't already.

We last did it in Disneyland in October 2014 and we were given a coupon of sorts to bring to the PhotoPass shop to pick up our photo. This was the same process as at WDW when we were last there in Feb 2014. It was added to our PhotoPass account I believe but then we would just present the coupon to get the free photo. So either they've done away with it, or they're not advertising the free photo as much to deter people from taking advantage of it.

We just had our picture taken in April 2015 over Easter at WDW and again in August 2015 at Disneyland so I am guessing it is still happening. At WDW they offer that at Epcot in Innoventions (sorry I cannot remember if it is East or West)!

Were you given the coupon for the free photo? I'm pretty sure the picture is still happening, but I am not sure if the actual free photo is still given out. Thanks

Yes...coupon provided and you turn it in at the photo place toward the front of the park for your free picture.

We got our free picture in September for the first time. It was a good one too as we actually got DS13 to smile and DS4 to stand on his own and not be scared of Minnie Mouse and Pluto.

Cool! So it sounds like the perk is still available. Hooray! I always love our free picture. Except for the one in disneyland which wasn't that great.

Yup, we got the free 5x7 print on our trip last month. One word of advice - do not wait until park closing to go to the camera shop and claim your photo. We made that mistake and it ended up taking what felt like forever because there were so many people getting photos.

There was something on the Disneyland boards about the Visa photo op now being Star Wars ... can't remember the details right now ...

Just an update that the free print no longer exists. There is still a meet and greet with characters, but you're given a free download of your photo now, not the print.
