Free 2nd day at Sea World

If anyone of you are going to Sea World, here is a link to get a 2nd day free. It looks as if you do need to purchase in advance.

FYI - You can get the Sea World second day free deal by having your picture taken at the end of the day at the park and they will issue you a second pass for use up to 7 days from that date. We did buy our passes in advance directly from Sea World on-line (10% discount) but I purchased my mother's and aunt's passes at Sea World and still received the 2nd day free.

What are the dates for the offer? I couldn't find them on the website (link worked great, BTW!).

Also, what is the reason for the photograph? Is it a release for use in publicity or something?

Taja ~ As far as I know there are no special dates for the offer. I went in 1999 and received a 2nd day free and then just went in Jan 2004 and again received the 2nd day free. This is something that they normally do; not a special promotion per se. All you need to do is purchase a regular ticket and have your pic taken before you leave the park and they will give you a pass for another day which must be used within 7 days. Not sure what the pass price is on Expedia but if you buy passes from Sea World on-line there is a 10% discount although you have to buy the passes 7 days (I believe) in advance to get them on-line.

We have gone to SW at least 4 times in the last 6 years and we have taken advantage of this offer each time. It's just an ongoing "perK'........which we totally enjoy. Can I say our family enjoys SW almost as much as MK?

Thanks! I've gone to SeaWorld San Diego many times, but never in Orlando. I hope to remedy this in December!

I don't know that I will want to spend more than one day there, but it would be nice to have the option to return to favorite or missed attractions or for some shopping!

Another discount for SW tickets is signing up for Southwest (airlines) Rewards. From another "disney info" site, it's 20% (confirmed via telephone by a SW staff member) but you can't get the discount online at this point - you have to show your Southwest rewards card. You can also get 10% or 15% off w/ AAA discounts as well!

No, there is no charge to have your picture put on the return pass.
