I think it's about a 3 hour drive from Fredericton to Bangor. I've always flown with Delta Airlines, but I'm a little hesitant to book through them for our November trip because of the problems they are presently going through. According to their website, I could book for $364 CA (all included). I also got a price from U.S Airways at a cost of $419 CA (all included). Haven't booked yet...still trying to decide.
What about you? Have you got any prices yet? When are your travelling?
It is about a 3 hr drive to bangor But you should consider driving an other 4 and fly South West out of Manchester NH If you do fly out of Bangor Shop around for a Hotel in Bangor that will let you park your car in exchange for a nite's stay (cheeper than parking at the airport )
We recently looked at possibilities and saw that Portland can also be cheaper than Bangor. Guess it depends on how far you want to drive. We did Bangor last year and left our car at the Sheraton at the airport, staying there the night before and upon our return. Made things a lot easier with a 4yr old.
Hello Freddie Beach Shelly...The best price I saw out of Bangor was with US Airways for $468.10 one way. My husband lives in Fredericton now and we will be joining him some time in April. I am driving down with the kids and he was originaly going to meet us down there and drive back with us. Plans have changed and he is flying to Toronto to drive with us. Thanks for the info. I know for next time.
We booked last week BGR to MCO and it cost 1400 CDN for 4 of us. Air Canada ans WestJet wanted double that to fly out of Moncton. We are flying with Delta to Cincinnati and on the way back through Boston. Great connection times!
As for the hotel in BGR, we stay at the Days Inn and leave our car there. They have a shuttle to the airport and when you get back, you call the hotel and they send the shuttle right over.
