:confused3 Since Valentines Day is coming up I thought this would be interesting. :rolleyes1 :teeth:

Victoria's Secret if you want a "romantic" Valentine's Day

Frederick's if you want do get down and get funky!! :rolleyes1

I'm a Frederick's girl myself. This is for anyone who wnat to know: Fredericks comes in plus sizes while VS doesn't.

I used to really like Victoria's Secret but after 15 years w/ Dh, I've gotten quite lazy about that sort of thing! :rolleyes2

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I hear ya!!!!! ;) But like RangerPooh said, Fredericks comes in plus sizes too.

BTW, I was never a VS girl even when I weighed only 120 lbs at 5'9" and could wear anything in there. :teeth:

I walked into VS the other day and wondered, "who the hell can fit into this stuff?" What do you have to be, like 12? I didn't see anything larger than a 34B!

:)

As a 34A, I ashamedly admit that I can. :teeth:

Yep, thus why I'm a Frederick's gal too. VS hasn't realized that not all of us are a size -0, although I do enjoy looking at everything! :rotfl:

Watch out for those tape measures! :goodvibes

I have a funny (pathetic?) side note:

When I was engaged I worked in the mall as an assistant manager in a store that was 3 stores down from a Fredericks. I would go there all the time on my lunch break and check the sale racks. After doing this for almost the entire year of our engagement I had quite the collection of lingerie.

Well, I never wore too much of it because I gained a bit of weight with the wedding stress eating (good stress, but still stress). Then before I could lose that I got pregnant. Anyway long story short, I kept gaining with each pregnancy and in between too, and never lost enough to get back into the sizes I had bought the stuff in!

So now I have this bag of lingerie with the tags on still in my closet! What to do with it? :confused3 Save it for my DD? :earseek: What a waste. Even if I lost weight now my body would still never be that shape again after three pregnancies (twins with one of them no less!). So the bag remains there collecting dust. :sad2:

I KNOW!!!

You remembering that gives me the warm fuzzies!!! :goodvibes :teeth:

I like Victorias Secret. I have not been in a Fredericks lately, but I remember them being more "trashy" lingerie. I have always thought VS had classy beautiful lingerie. However, in some of the recent lines, there have been some skanky (to me- I am very modest) pieces- I don't think I can mention them on the DIS! :)

34DD here (yes naturally) and I fit in quite a bit there ;) Actually their stuff is the only ones I like that fits & supports. I'm just about to be 29 so I prefer not to look like a granny when wearing a bra.

I prefer VS over Fredericks. FoH is just too cheap feeling & looking and very itchy. Their stuff is NOT for every day use at all!

Now if someone would make a decent DD bra that I don't think belongs on a grandma, I would shop elsewehre. For now bras are VS for me only. Panties I do prefer elsewhere

I wear a lot of VS stuff everyday. I love their clothes as well as their unmentionables. Fredericks has more risque items that are fun for special occassions.
