Can you believe people? I had people telling me not to take my kids last year when they were 2 and 4 because "they wouldn't remember it." Well, guess what? They must remember it because they ask me every single day when we can go back. And, if you based everything you do for your kids on that reason, you would never have birthday parties, trips to the zoo, Easter egg hunts, etc.

Oh I hear that all the time too and I can't seem to get it through their heads, they do remember and even if they don't DH & I will remember! Now I don't even bother going into it with them. DD is 2.5 and she's been asking us when are we going back to Mickey's house also.

QJ411-do you want us to call you "Queenie"? That would be a whole lot easier to remember. Welcome and join in whenever you feel like it!

LOL, I figured Queenie was much easier to remember, so yes, by all means call me Queenie, or whatever short of 'hey you' is fine! Thanks for the welcomes!

What's everyone doing for their long weekend?

I think we are taking the new puppy to the dog park and beach tomorrow. Can't wait to see how he acts around water! So far when it rains and we are out for a walk, he jumps over the puddles like he hates to get his feet wet!

Okay, I have to add something about the dog here. He is gassing me out of the room where the computer is! I guess its from the rawhide I gave him to chew on yesterday instead of him chewing on the furniture! P-U! Anybody have any suggestions as to what I can give him to chew on that doesn't result in him stinking up the house?! He has one of those Kong toys but he's not real interested in it. Its getting in the way of me being able to DIS when I want, since I have to keep leaving the room!

Good Friday Morning All!

We're having company this weekend. They'll be here tonight. It's our best friends from college! We always have a blast together, BBQ'ing, playing cards and dominos, kids swimming and fishing, men playing golf....ladies drinking sangria! It might rain alot, but we won't care! It's a good ole' fashion kinda fun time!

I've actually got to get to the store and pick up some food (with coupons, of course!)"Sorry guys but all we have to eat is hot dogs, cheese slices, wheat thins, dannon yogurt, blue bunny ice cream, lots of little boxes of cereal, kashi vive or go lean crunch, a few soy joy bars, and to drink you have a choice of juicy juice or crystal light!"

Going shopping to pick up scrapbook supply. AC Morre is having a sale and dh is telecommuting today so I can shop with NO children saying "Mom this is borring, can we go now..."

For the weekend I get Sat off and then working a private party Sunday and then just regular work on Monday. Yep, it sucks but my job ends when I get back from Disney so I better get the the $$ while I can.

Easier said than done with him! He knows when I am about to put him out and goes limp where I have to pick all 40 lbs, dead weight, up! And right now I have a bulging disc in my back that is keeping me from doing that! (Ouch!) Its a no win situation with the dog right now! (Not to mention I'm a little worried "it will go off" right when I am about to pick him up!

Yeah, I can relate to that as well! I knew I was in for trouble when he started gassing me! I already had to contend not only with DH but DD as well! The ferret and I are the only "not so gassy" ones in the house!
