Just so you guys all know I am Kellie's husband.
I am going to try to keep her off the computer for a bit. The treatments are really beaten her up so I want her to rest and sleep.
She keeps telling me she is fine but she is wiped out. I want her to take some time off from work but she will not. Kellie seems to think that if she does that then the cancer wins. I love her to death but she is driving me nuts.
I am going to talk to her DRS this week and see what they think.
I am also going to call her boos in the am and have him make sure one one of the girls that work for her stick by her side and report back to me.
She has 2 great bosses so I know thye will look out for her.
She is a sleep right now so maybe that will help.

Awww, John. We share your concern. I think we also have a good understanding of why Kellie has set the pace for herself that she has. Each of us responds differently to what life throws at us.....

Kellie knows we will be here when she can get here. She doesn't want to make us worry, either, so she keeps us posted. Whatever you guys work out for yourselves works for us!

Madd, tell me again what resort you and DH last visited in Mexico? It was all-inclusive, right? DH is talking about getting to the other side of Mexico some time this coming year so I need to start looking into making the arrangements.

We are here for her, she doesn't need to be.

It is good that she has you to keep any eye for her. I can see her letting herself be run into the ground trying to keep up with what does not need be.

Hope those bosses help you with that.

Welcome John! We have heard so many wonderful things about you from Kellie. You are a special man(and that ain't just the liquor talkin ). We know that you are taking great care of her and if she doesn't feel up to freaping, it's gonna be up to you to keep us informed and carry gossip back to her. Tell her that I hope she feels better soon.

Good Monday morning all!!! I hope everyone had a great weekend and that you are all enjoying springtime. Not much going on with us, just the usual kid's driving me nuts and me trying to think of some way we can still go to WDW this year. I haven't cancelled any of my ADR's yet because I'm hoping for a miracle before they end the free DDP booking. Wonder what my chances are for some great karma to come my way? Probably slim to none.

Hey Suz- we stayed @ The Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya, yes- it is an all-inclusive. It was very nice- like I mentioned before it was very modern, a lot of marble, rooms were orange but very large- DH liked that fact he can just walk right off our beach and snorkel.

DH said he would go back in a heartbeat- I like to ry different places.

I posted pics here didn't I? I have some of the rooms and property if you want me to post them.

I will tell you this- if you want to spend about 2 grand per person I would go for the RIU Palace in Playa! Google RIU. DH and I were upgraded from the RIU in Cancun to the Palace, a few years ago- and OMG- it was nice!! Beautiful.

This was my favorite part of the RIU Palace- there was always someone there waiting to bring you champage- you didn't have to get up!

They put the good stuff in the room! I had to take a shot of each one

It was just nice....

I find some great deals on Apple- Our 3 trips to Mexico (and one to the Dominican Republic) were all through Apple. We never had a problem. They take care of you as soon as you grab your luggage at the airport and head out- they are there to greet you and get you to the right bus and they also tell you who to avoid at the airport- ie- taxies- people who want to take your luggage etc.

I usually go to Apple- find aplace that has a good price and a hotel I like and then go over to Trip Advisor to check out the reviews- If I see too many negatives- I move on to the next hotel- I know some of the people over there just like to complain about every little thing (hey- I wonder if they are from the DIS? ) so you have to keep that in mind.

You aren't just helping me plan a trip....we are also having snow all week and I am sooooo ready for spring! Any pictures you post will improve my attitude greatly!

I think it seems like they have changed that web site/service recently. I have to switch to the "older version" to upload photos now. They have changed it to allow uploads of video or something....

Yes- I saw that too- but I have been having problems for months- my computer will just freeze!

Maybe I have to get rid of some of the files?
