Hi freaps. I'm in a funk today. We have had to cancel/postpone our free dining trip. After our scare over the possibility of DH losing his job we just decided that we should do a better job of getting our finances in order before doing any big trips. So who knows when we'll make it back? So now it's back to sticking with the budget board and meandering over to the CB to get into trouble every now and then.

I am sorry you are in a funk. But holding out and dealing with your finances is a better idea.

Oh no Marna!!!! I am so sorry- but your finances should be priority!

Disney will always be there waiting for you when you are ready!

Okay we are back from the DRS. I am not a freak. Dana Farber has me a a trial drug. This is what is makeing my hair curl and get dark. They said they told me this. I know they told me it might fall out but then again I do not always listen to them John of course said they did tell me because he has it his notes.( the little brown noser).I will get my teatment time in the morning when I meet with the other DR who goes thru the radition with me.

Dave Ramsey does believe in tithing/donating to charity/giving, whatever you want to call it. He also quotes the Bible in his books to show that God has no problem with money, or people having money, just to use it responsibly (I am not quoting exactly, and I am also on some serious cold medicine- so consider that my disclaimer ). However, I would not avoid the books because of this. He has some great advice, and he is also very funny and practical.

Him being the guy did not hear me when I told him. I said in the room I told you this and he said when? He so did not notice it at all. Maybe he is the freak. So from what they said they do not think it will fall out. They said it would have started to by now if it was going to.

HEY, her dress matches the wall color. How cool. Love the wall color by the way and the hat & scarf are not quite as darling as your DD.

Those sets are very nice. Carly is so cute. You should put them on ebay and sell them. I think you would do well.

Alesia- Carly is adorable- she has beautful eyes! Is that her in your siggy when she was younger?

You know what else you can do with your hat and scarfs- sell them at local craft shows! They should start up soon in the spring and go through the fall- the shows get a lot of traffic! I know around here they do!

Make up some cards and maybe you can do custom orders!

OMG- I KNOW the feeling! They make you think YOU are the crazy one! I said on another thread that the reason so many women are on meds (anxiety etc) is b/c our men drive us CRAZY!!!

Not sure if anyone elses DH does this- I will ask him a "yes or no" question and he just sits there! I say- Helloooooo! Did you hear me- he said- I answered you!!!! I freak out b/c I am sitting there looking at him and his mouth did not move!!!!!!!! I think he says it in his head but it never makes it to his mouth!

It most definitely is a guy thing. DH will be watching TV or something and I ask a question...no answer..ask again..no answer..DS10 is even worse, after several attempts I have to shout to get his attention, then he says "what" and I have to start all over again. When someone asks me a question, even when I am engrossed in something-it definitely breaks my concentration and I answer-immediately!

Yes it is definitely the (insert male anatomy) gene that causes this. My DH is infamous for saying "you never told me that" and I stand there going I JUST told you 5 minutes ago EVERY Friday I play cards with my grandmother. Last Friday I told him we weren't playing cards but I was going to go over around 8-8:30 (instead of 7) to have tea/goodies with her. An hour later he asks me "are you going to your grandmothers tonight?" Seriously!?!? Said in my best Greys Anatomy tone

Your crocheting is wonderful....you can see the even stitches even in the picture! Carly is such a beautiful girl....make sure she models all of your projects and they will sell like hotcakes!

We only have two doctors in town who do the aforementioned colonoscopy. When I made my appointment, DH said he needed to make an appointment too and he asked me which doctor I was going to see. I told him and I pointed out that I had learned that "the other" doctor charged an additional fee for the procedure so I wanted to make sure we wouldn't be stuck with that fee if insurance didn't want to cover it. He called to make an appointment for himself. He immediately came back to me and said he thought I had just made an appointment with "doctor so and so" and I said "no, the other doctor".

I had just told DH who I had made an appointment with and he picked up the phone and called "the other" doctor!! I told him I could not have set up a more perfect example of how he DOES NOT listen than he had just done himself. He actually seemed surprised that he didn't hear a word I said....but, it was still (somehow) my fault!

I shouldn't laugh...I have 3 guys at my house!

He'll be watching something on tv and DD will go up to him to give a hug and say "I love you Daddy." and he doesn't even answer!!!!! I honestly think that selective male hearing loss is a scientific fact. I'm sure if the words "beer" or "golf" were involved, he'd answer immediately.

So, honey. I was thinking about golf while I was at the GYN today and he said that the problem with beer is I need to take more iron and then you'll get more.....
