I am home.
I lucked out and we headed in to Boston early and due to the fact that a lot of people canceled there appointments we got everything and all the test done fast. It was sweet. So what we learned today was.
They where worried about me going thru treatments due to the fact that I have Lupus and it has messed up my kindeys. But they spoke to my Lupus Dr and a couple others and and we have decided to change my meds and we are good to go. So I go back to see them on March 3rd and as long as I am not having trouble with the new meds they will give me my surgery date. They have it all booked and just do not want to have me get upset if there is a set back from my new meds.

Yes Madd I will share DH with you to cook you diner. He is a good cook. But it has become a mean Housewife. Oh also madd can you send me the dirty stick figure you found I need a laugh.

Kellie, I hope your day wasn't too exhausting. I suggest you have your wonderful DH prepare a nice little cocktail for you to relax. Been thinking of you...here's a hug for you.. and one for your DH I want to know where you found him, do they grow them like that in your neck of the woods, or did you have to send away for him? One of those imports, perhaps? Anyway, he's a keeper that's for sure..

Thanks for the hugs. The day was a little tuff. The worst was the MRI they had to do on my B&&Bs . It was a little strange. It was so long. Then when they finished it I had to do it again.
As for John I have spent a lot of time training him If you ever meet his mother you would be shocked how well him and is brother turned out. I will be keeping him.

WOW i went through a jungle gem to find you guys. Glad to see you all though-- you dont know how much ive missed this part of my life.

There was just too much to catch up on and i know im going to get behind here in a minute again so I thought i would give a little update.

We moved into the new house. Between moving out of our old and unpacking in the new-- plus our regular day-to-day and trying to sell our old one- its been nuts. Our reg. cable/internet provider is giving us hell too because we are too far from the road and they dont want to guarantee our service. Blah blah blah... anyhoo im at my moms logging on so I can check my email before my accounts expire (doesnt that stink?). Anyway- theres no telling how long it will take to get a human out to our house again and get the internet and cable hooked back up.

I dont know if anyone noticed but my PMs werent working. I got a big infraction over on the weddings & honeymoons forum because i suppose i was sarcastic & childish to a moderator over there. I got my account here suspended for a little bit and didnt really miss it because we didnt have internet anyway.

On a side note i cant wait to post photos of the new house for you guys so you can help me decorate. Thats going to be the hardest process yet. We are going to a better homes and gardens show tonight though so hopefully that will give me a tad bit of inspiration!

Glad you stopped in. We where wondering and we missed you also. Madd did try to Pm you and didnot know what was going on. But now we know you where a bad girl. I am glad the move went well. It is a pian to move I am never doing it again.

Kellie- I will send you the naughty figure asap! anything for you! You may need to apply it to something soon from the way things sound! I am sure people will be in your face and everywhere else soon and you will NEED to let them know- enough is enough and they need to quiet down! Doctors, nurses, whomever is annoying you!

So- how are you feeling- do you think you really messed up the knee when you got up- or it was just the pain meds wearing off and that is why you really felt it??

I am still not sure. I am thinking that because my knee was swollen to the size of a football, maybe the swollen tissue helped hold some stuff in place so nothing got torn too badly in there. I have a post-op on Tuesday and I have a ton of questions. I have been sitting around with frozen peas on my knee ALOT and that is noticably helping with the swelling. The stitches have started to scab up now. I am thinking that is probably a good sign. The pain is subsiding so I don't whine as much as I did earlier this week.

I overheard DH tell my son (who is at college) that I saved THOUSANDS of dollars in gas this week because I couldn't go anywhere. He's a pretty funny guy, that one.

How old ARE YOU women, anyway? Ya'll sound like a bunch of old men complaining about their bursitis acting up(not that I have any idea what bursitis is, it's just what my Granny always complained about). Well, if you're going to insist on everyone airing their health problems, my hip is messed up(how's that for an old lady ailment? ), my heels are cracking(I definately need advice for THAT problem) and painful and I have what I have lovingly been referring to as "the mange" on my inner arms and am about to scratch the hide right off. I guess it all pales in comparison to what Kellie is going through, but I just need to whine a bit. The hip has been messed up for about 2-3 weeks. It just feels like I've torn something there. I haven't stopped running though so I know it's making it worse but I hate to stop for awhile and lose any progress I've made. I've been popping ibuprofin which helps some. As for my heels cracking and bleeding, that's been going on for several years. I've tried every foot cream known to man and nothing helps. And last, but not least, the creeping crud that is driving me insane with it's itching. I've had it for several months now. I've ruled out allergies to something new so I don't know what the problem is. As for going to a DR. I wouldn't know where to start so I'm just suffering not so quietly.

I am 52 and my only REAL problem is that I have been blessed and, for the most part, healthy most of my life. Which now gives me reason to whine until the cows come home when I am faced with real inconvenience and pain!! I'll take the grouchy old description

Maybe you pulled a muscle in your hip. Ice and rest?

I can't help you with "the mange"....I have the same type of thing on my legs and I can't find anything to help with it either. I get it on the front of my legs every winter and it itches like crazy! The only fairly successful thing I have tried is pouring baby oil on my legs in the shower and massaging it in. We have well water and a water softener....I don't know if that is the problem or if it is laundry detergent or something! But, I don't get it in the summer when I use a self-tanning lotion, wearing shorts, and get plenty of sunshine so I have no idea what the heck it is....!

Sorry to hear about your pains. I can't help about the creeping crud, but I can empathize. I have this rash under my arms. Looks almost like it's been burned. I tried to stop shaving, no help. And couldn't stand if for long. Tried different razors & creams, no help. Different deoderants/antipersperants, no help. Tried alumimum free stuff, no help. Tried this stuff that has hops in it, ouch, that burned! Going on a year now and I'm just too embarrassed to show anyone. Hey you, look at my under arm.

Be careful with that ibuprofin stuff. I don't watch Grey's Anatomy, but I did read an episode description about a work out fanatic who popped those & tylenol stuff and it wasn't a pretty picture they painted.
