FRANK!! I found a "Hot Now" Krispy Kreme place!!

There is a Krispy Kreme on US Hwy 192 just east of Old Town that has freshly made Krispy Kreme's!!!

While I never saw the "Hot Now" (or "Now Hot") sign on, I know where they make 'em!! I think I'll make a project of sitting in their parking lot waiting for the sign to light up so I can get me a "fresh from the fryer" Krispy Kreme!!

Woo-Hoo!! These are the discoveries that make life sweet!

I was going to ask about that, as I recently read on someone's dining review that they got some KK's on 192 when the light was on. Hooray!!

Yes, you did Tom, and I didn't listen closely. For some reason, I was thinking about the KK further west on 192 that does not fry them on site. This KK is just east of the Cracker Barrel on the south side of the street. It does indeed sit back from the road in front of some time share. I didn't pay any attention to what the time share sign said. I was too busy concentrating on the fact that the KK had a "Hot Now" sign & was hoping it would light up! It didn't. I may have to call them & ask what their "fry schedule" is.

I'm a doubting Thomas who doubted Tom!! 50 lashes with a hot cruller for me!!

It makes them more treasured when you do find one! And with a KK so close to the park, Might be a thing that "must be done" on Disney trips??

Good stuff. I have crushed plenty of hot donuts there in the past. Timing is the key, or if your like me driving back and forth until you see the sign light up. I was sad when you mentioned that they did not produce them there. Now I am happy again.

You can take a nasty old KK doughnut and wrap it in a moist paper towel and microwave it for 5 seconds and it is "light on" fresh!

You can freeze a KK and microwave it, hot anytime you want it.
