Francilien Passport

Hi All

I wanted to buy francilien passports but now read that they can't be used for day of purchase, can the fantasy pass be used on the day of purchase as dlp have told me that it can't?

I thought the Francilien passport could be used the day you buy it, but not the two days after that. (to avoid that people use this as a cheap 3-day hopper)

The other two passports can be used from the first day on, but do check on the blackout days for the Fantasy one!

Thanks Sandra, that what I thought initially as I have read somewhere that you can't use it on the 2nd and 3rd days after purchase but I phoned dlp who said you can't use it on the 1st day

Can anybody claify this or let me know how they did it

Hi cheekymole, welcome to the DIS!

I always understood you could use any pass on the day of purchase too (with the exception of the 2nd and 3rd day with the Francilien) unless it happened to be a blackout day.

If you bought a one day pass at the gate and then updated it to a Francillien at the AP office then you would already be in the park so you must be able to use it the first day. In fact I'm sure blackout days don't apply to your first day because you can upgrade in the park.

Actually, you buy a voucher at the gate, and then you have to exchange that voucher for your AP in the park that same day => you need to get access to the park the first day!
