We just returned from a trip to WDW yesterday. I have to say that I really like FP+. I was really nervous about using it. This was our first trip since FP+ has been implemented. It really worked well for our family. I have two little kids and a handicapped mother that traveled with us. My experience is a little different than others.

I do understand why some people are upset with the new system. I must admit that 15 years ago, I probably would not have liked it. Before kids, DH and I were the commando type. We opened and closed the parks. We would ride the E tickets several times. I do get the complaints.

However at this point in my life, FP+ worked well for us. I was worried that we would get off track and miss FP+ times due to issues with the kids, but the hour window was enough time. We were only late for one FP+, Peter Pan. We were about 20 min late. Our dinner at Be Our Guest ran longer than expected. We actually had to wait about 25 min past our reservation time for a table, which through us off schedule a bit. Our PP FP started about an hour after our dinner ADR. We went over and asked nicely. The CMS let us go through the FP line anyway.

We also had no issues getting a fourth FP at any of the parks. Of course, this isn't a really busy time of year. We weren't getting additional FP+s for Mine Train or Anna and Elsa M&G. My point is there was still 4ths available at least this past week. My issue was finding the FP+ kiosks to obtain additional FP+s. While I had reviewed the list of where they were, I didn't feel like they were adequately marked or advertised in the parks. If we could find a kiosk, we had no issues getting a 4th.

I agree, I know the parks like the back of my hand but I still have yet to learn where all the kiosks are located
