Ok. Love FP+! Tried it October while staying at POR... At the time we were able to use Legacy FP as well. Will we ever get more than just three choices for FP+? Since the paper FP will be gone it makes since to give people more than just three...I asked a CM and they had no clue...

I doubt it.

If they have excess, and that is for rides that people would want, they will either sell them or link them to hotel stays as incentives.

Someone I know IRL told me with absolute certainty that we will be getting at least one more FP+/day after "testing" is over according to a CM who is in a position to know, and she didn't view this as any big secret. I just consider it one more rumor and am not in position to know how reliable the actual source is. A possibility may have been misunderstood as a certainty, or it might be for deluxe resort guests, or bonus FP in less busy times, who knows. Possible speculation is endless. Please don't repeat it as true fact.

I find it hard to believe that we will be offered more at any park but MK.

Three fastpasses a day just isn't enough for a family spending 12 hours in a park. Im talking about the average family enjoying a day in the magic kingdom.

I can already foresee the same people that abused GAC will start flocking to guest services for a DAS card which is essentially an unlimited fastpass. I have to say, i cant blame people that much anymore. It drove me insane watching them make their way to the (almost) front of the line while we waited with babies in our arms and sweat pouring down our backs but now people will be trying to experience WDW the way they did in the past...the way they are used to. The old way where you pulled a fastpass and came back during your window (all day long). Now it's 3 fp's and your done. That's not ok.

Ps- Disney needs perks for resort guests. Maybe consider 6fp+ for those staying onsite and 4 for offsite guests?

I do think there will be more added for resort guests and I'm starting to think there will be tiers by resort level as well, including club level.

Interesting point about the DAS.

Mk is really the only park that concerns me. Three choices at the others seem to be enough. I don't see why they would limit people to three choices though at MK. Especially if it is tiered like Epcot and HS.

The total number is really only an issue for me at the MK.

As long as the rides are tiered and you can't repeat anything, having more than 3 would be nearly useless in the other 3 parks for us.

I think Disney has plans for any excess FP inventory. It's the new "currency" by which they will move crowds around where they need them.

I think hopping will be an option, but probably "guided hopping" to the park Disney would prefer to have you in.

Get ready to be surprised and delighted.

I'm anticipating "guided hopping" to move people between parks, but also "bonus fastpasses" to move people around within a park. I can almost see the text messages now "For the next 30 minutes, get an extra FP+ at CoP" or "Use your MB to buy a Dolewhip and Mickey Pretzel and get an extra FP+ on Jungle Cruise before 1:30 pm"

I believe that before long you will see Disney start selling additional FP+ reservations by tier for a fee. The limit of three per day, the tiered rides, and the money they have invested in MM+ all lead me to believe that Disney will monetize FP+. If you want another tier one FP+ or more, just pay a small fee and presto, you get your wish.

Their simply replacing the old buffet style of ticketing (FP-) with the new Digital a la carte style of ticketing (FP+). It makes sense for them to sell additional FP+ reservations based on how they've set up the new system so far.

Pretty much agree with everyone who said Disney will use FP+ to sell and as a perk for on-site/deluxe/club. I dislike spending the extra money but I was never a fan of the old system because it made me be at the park at a certain time and return to a ride at a certain time that was not of my choosing. FP+ fixes this but I don't like tiering so if they wanna charge me to get rid if it or give me it because I always stay at the Grand Floridian so be it. I had the most relaxing WDW vacation I have had in years this past December with FP+(booked before the tiering). No running around, no not getting the time we needed a FP for, just enjoy the trip and know I have the rides I want at the times I want.

I cannot get my head around the fact that they have increased FP capacity by adding Meet and greets, parades etc (and I view these as really positive additions) but then have reduced each persons allocation of FP's shouldn't it be able to cope with the increased "usage" of the system with these additions?

Absolutely.

Once the bugs are out of the system there is little doubt Disney will introduce Fastpass packages to purchase.

They have watched US sell FOTL and drooled over the $$$$.

Introductory prices will be reasonable ........ Maybe a choice of fast passes packages for $45, $65, $85 a day.......prices to increase each year along with ticket prices.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. For your continued enjoyment, please keep the line moving and your wallets open. Thank you and have a Magical Day.

If they are going to start charging us for more FP+ I wish they would just get on with it already! At this point, I would gladly pay for more FP+ .....but I want this option BEFORE my April vacation! Also - I am booked at a mod ....if they are going to offer more FP+ to a deluxe stay, I have no problem booking at a deluxe. Let's just get on with it so we know how to plan!

Dear WDW Suits,

If you are reading this, please just go ahead and roll out the extra FP for a fee plan, so I can go ahead and buy mine before March. Or, if it will be more FP+ per day for a deluxe guest, please pull this out sooner so I know if the WL and AKL will be included with the deluxe or moderate tier. I don't need much of an excuse to upgrade to the Poly, anyway.

I know it's coming, everyone here knows it's coming, I just need to know how much to budget for it. I will pay whatever you want me to pay, $100 extra a day? Do it. Just, please get it over with. I'm tired of waiting, and if I try to take Dr. Jekyll with the system the way it is over spring break, prepare to see Mr. Hyde in his worst form. He will not only ruin our vacation, but he will certainly make everyone he encounters have a less magical vacation as well.

Thanks,
Me
