HI Everyone!

So this Sunday is the day we get to select our Fast Passes for our upcoming September Trip!

Since we took advantage of the Free Dining Promo (works out for our family!) we will have Park Hoppers. We don't normally Park Hop. On prior trips when our kids were a bit younger...they will be almost 10 and almost 5 this trip, it never made any sense to us, and was more of a hassle. With that said, on prior trips we would select our FP's for early in the day...and would try to get what we could later in the day.

Park hopping changes things a bit for us. I have some EMH mornings selected, so my question for you is this: If we head to a Park during AM EMH, would you select Fast Passes for that park...or just make them for your 2nd park of the day?

I wish I had my planned out itinerary....but I am at work, and I have it at home. Once I get home I'll edit and add it, and hopefully that helps!!

Thanks!

I generally make my FPs for the 2nd park, unless my 2nd park is MK - there are so many rides with FPs there that you can often get FPs for good or even great rides when you get there in the afternoon. It also depends on how much I want to get done in the first park. At Epcot, for example, we take advantage of rope drop and can get all of our "must do" rides down before lines get too long, so we don't really need FPs there.

I would get Fastpasses for the rides that I want to ride the most, but have the longest lines, whichever park that is at. If 7DMT is your fav, I would get that. If Flight of Passage is your priority, then get that.

I book them for the 1st park, after finishing the initial 3, I'll check for what's available at the 2nd park. But honestly, I consider any ride at the second park as lagniappe.

We're generally one-park-per-day folks, but if I was hopping, I think I'd rely on getting to the first park early and book the FPs for the second.

The exception would be if I was going on a lot of rides at the first park and just hitting the second for a specific restaurant for dinner or something. Then I'd book them at my "main" park for the day.

@tsme, thank you for using one of my DS's vocab words! We have a contest going for finding them "in the real world". You just got me a point. :cheer2:

I was hesitant to use it because mostly only local people (south Louisiana) know it's meaning or how to pronounce it, but it fit what I was trying to say perfectly, so I used it. Glad someone knows it.
