FP Show Overlap Glitch

My BIL booked a dinner reservation at 4:35 at SciFi for an upcoming trip with my niece. He had a 4:05-4:20 FP for the Frozen Sing Along already booked. This didn't come up as a conflict or time overlap in MDE. Now, I know that the Frozen Sing Along actually starts at 4:30 and the 4:05-4:20 FP is the window to arrive for FP seating. They actually won't get out of the show until 5:00 so there is no way they can make the 4:35 reservation. I've alerted him to this so he can change the reservation.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there any kind of pop-up warning when booking FP for shows vs. rides? It seems to me this is big flaw in the system, especially for first timers. I have a 4:35-5:35 FP for TOT and a dinner reservation at HBD at 5:30 and MDE has flagged that five minute time overlap for me in my itinerary. But the clear conflict in my BIL's itinerary does not trigger an alert because the return time to get a seat for the show does not conflict with the dinner reservation even though the actual show time does.

Is there any kind of pop-up warning when booking FP for shows vs. rides?

There has been for me.
But, you never know what kind of glitch may flaw the system.
