FP+, season pass and cancelled room

Let's say you have a season pass, and a room booked 60 days out. You then make your FP+ reservations. Does anyone know what happens to those FP+ reservations if the room reservation is cancelled within the 60 days?
 
Hmm, since you have an annual pass, I don't know exactly what will happen, but when we purchased tickets as part of a package with our stay, then returned the tickets because they were less expensive at UT, the FP+ that I had reserved on the package disappeared during my call. I think the system is pretty smart and won't allow you to reserve FP+ if it's not within your window.
 
Why do you ask?

Because I am on the waitlist for Kidani instead of Jambo. If the waitlist comes through, my current reservation will be cancelled and replaced with a new one. I'm concerned that my fastpasses will be cancelled too.

You should be fine. I cancelled an AP reservation that I made fastpasses with when my BWV waitlist came through and nothing changed with my fastpasses.

The reason why I referred to it as a cancelled room is because I am also stalking the site. If I see something come up, I don't have enough points to book both. So I will have to cancel one reservation and then book another. Since this is not actually a "waitlist" doing it this way, I'm concerned that doing so will cancel the stuff that is tied to that reservation.
 
OK, I need to bump this. Looking for any help ASAP. I have a reservation that is 53 days out right now. I have booked my FP+ already for it. A room just came up that I want to switch to. So I would have to cancel my reservation and book the new one. Anyone know for sure what will happen to my fast passes? This is not a wait list, it will be a straight cancel and re-book.
 
As long as no computer/CM screws up your FP+ selections will be safe and sound. Your moving from one Disney property to another with AP's. If your that worried, just call tech when the change happens. 2 cents.

A possible way to get around that concern.....make your Kidani reservation WITHOUT cancelling the Jambo reservation. Then once you see your Kidani reservation in your MDE, go ahead and cancel Jambo. The hope is that all the system is looking for is that you always have a reservation.
