FP+ Reservations

I haven't been to WDW since FP+ started so I have been doing my research. I do have one question that I haven't found the answer to. This fall I will be heading down with DH and DD (21months), DH does not do thrill rides. Is it possible for me to have a FP for a thrill ride while DH and DD have a FP for a kiddie ride? Or do all 3 FP+ selections for the day have to be the same for everyone in our party.

They can be different. We went as a large party and some days we had all the same choices, some days all different choices, some days some the same, some different. It can be tricky to schedule, but it can be done. If you want some together I'd make those first and get your thrill rides, then go back and edit his and her choices to the rides they prefer.
